I'll be at WDW during the last week of May/1st week of June. Right now I've booked airfare going down on 5/28 but haven't booked my return yet. Its an adult trip only - just me and my mom. Mom really wants to see Harry Potter. I'd pretty much convinced myself to just go over for the day, but I hate not being onsite. So, now I'm thinking that we could go on 5/28-5/29 and then go to WDW or go directly to WDW and to US/IOA on 6/4-6/5.
I'm leaning toward doing it at the end just because the weekend we get there is Memorial Day weekend and I'm thinking the crowds will be high. So:
Option #1 - Fly on on the 28th, pick up the rental car, go to US/IOA (probably RPR), spend the evening and the day of the 29th there, go back to the airport, drop of the rental car and catch ME to WDW for the remainder of our trip.
Option #2 - Fly in on the 28th, catch ME to WDW, on the 4th catch ME back to the airport, pick up the rental car and then on to US/IOA for the 4th/5th and then back to the airport to drop of the rental car and fly home.
I can extend the trip through the 6th, but would prefer not to as I changed jobs last year and have limited vacation time.
The other issue I'm having (in trying to book online) is I can't book just one night on the 28th. Since its Memorial Day weekend I'm wondering if they have a 2 night minimum that weekend. I can book for one night on the 4th.
