(ridiculous as it may be to ask total strangers on a message board to help with a decision that has nothing to do with them!)

Would you....

a) book for February half term now, staying at the HNY with a 30% discount?

b) wait and hope that there will be a 'all your meals included' offer and pay full price?

c) keep to your previous vow and NOT go in February because you are going at Christmas?

:scratchin:scratchin:scratchin:scratchin

p.s If you say option c) - you are no friend of mine.;)

30% is a pretty good deal isn't it for Feb? (Am I right in thinking the 40% off is usually later on in the year?)

You would have to work out the value of your food bill (less your discount!!) and see how it would compare to 30% off the package price .:teacher:

I probably have a spreadsheet to help with that you know !!! :rotfl2:

BOOK NOW - then you can get back to having 3 tickers - you know you want to!!! :goodvibes

p.s. Option C, WHAT Option C???!!!! I don't see an option C anywhere... :confused3

i would work out how much 30 percent extra is.

then work out how much hypothetical food vouchers are worth

then work out how much you would spend on food anyway

then get annoyed with myself, give up halfway through, throw my bits of paper in the bin and choose option a

C - :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

:rotfl: Sorry I do want to be your friend really
- Id go for option A. You know that discount is there. B might not happen.

Option A, a lovely hotel. Plus your a shareholder (I think) so get discount on most of your meals:thumbsup2

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm i find this a really tough question.....

well, i wud prob spend a good few hours, going back and forth juddling feb dates, and trying to justify how good a deal it is......
then, try and work out how much a deal the free food wud be............
look back at the dates in feb.............

and say b*ll*cks to justifying it and book it asap before the offer goes!!!

so - the short of it is..................

A - BOOK NOW, BOOK ASAP, HURRY HURRY HURRY.....

:lmao:

I too am wondering whether to book now for Christmas or see if another offer comes out after September.

Best to book now I think then your mind is at rest that you have the hol booked and can start the best bit... planning and lists :cool1:

I can't wait to start writing my lists and itineries again for our next visit :goodvibes Have fun

Just book it woman! And then when the free food offer comes book another one :thumbsup2

A, A, A, A, A.

And did I say A?!! :lmao:

That's what we decided. I worked out the 30% discount versus the value of the HB vouchers, and there wasn't a great deal of difference. Plus we can use or shareholder card for restaurant bills anyway. And although we all suspect it will happen, there is no guarantee of the 'meals for free' deal anyway!

So quick, book it now, and then you can let us know all the details!

:lmao: I love the way all your minds work. :lmao:

Well option C is no longer an option as I have booked Eurostar tickets for 21st Feb. So now I have to choose between A and B.

I'm thinking A.
