We have finally decided our March break trip is a go - 10th - 19th. I know I've posted in the past about onsite vs off but I am now deciding doing a bit of both. I currently have 2 reservations booked and have a 3rd option I'm weighing.

We have 3 teen boys, (17,14,13)

Option 1 - 2 bedroom villa - Sheraton Vistana Resort Villas - March 10th - 19th - $2K US
Option 2 - 2 rooms at Swan for March 10th - 14th, then Sheraton until the 19th - $3.6K US
Option 3 - 1 bedroom villa OKW, DVC rented points, March 11th - 15th, then Sheraton until the 19th - $2.6K US (will still need to find a room for the 10th)

Anyone have feedback on the sofabed and sleeper chair at OKW?

This will absolutely be our last trip, with a focus on Star Wars and Avatar. There are bits and pieces I love about all of these options and also some things that I don't love. However, I'm so torn about Genie +. I've read reports where Genie + isn't valuable when crowds are high. Therefore, is it even worth staying on site for the 7am benefit or is it absolutely necessary because the crowds are so high?

We have 4 day park hopper plus tickets. We will do the first 4 full days doing the Parks, and then venture out afterwards.

Thanks!

I haven't stayed at any of the options :) But I will say when I get to my location, I like to "settle in" and not have to pack up and change half way through. I do like staying onsite but that 2 bedroom villa sounds nice and spacious. Do you plan to do the 4 park days in a row and then do the other stuff? I'd perhaps want to stay onsite for those day. I imagine it will be busy in March, so many March Breaks across Canada and the US.

I went the first week Genie + was out, we didn't use it. However it wasn't that busy. I could see the benefit in MK, and even HS. Not sure about the other parks. We did purchase the ILLS for RotR, FOP and 7DMT. Only RotR did we purchase right at 7. The other two we got later in the day, in fact we only got 7DMT because the line was so long right at the end of the day, I think park closed at 9 pm and we purchased it at 8 pm for 8:15 I believe. I have no idea if that is still possible.
