She asked him to do one thing and he did another. That is the 'big deal' (if you want to call it that).

If I ask someone to do something for me and they don't do it as I asked I'd be a little annoyed as well. Doesn't matter that she could have gotten cash at the ATM.

I thought for a minute I was going crazy.

Getting the cash from my side job that paid by a personal check (for an amount < $100 for those keeping track...) AFTER it had been deposited was never the issue. I got my money.

The question was, what would you do if asked that? Really nothing else there. There was no fight, DH did get frustrated that I expected money back, because he misinterpretted my statement. I was curious if others would see it the same way.

Call me old fashioned but I still carry cash. My regular job has direct deposit.

Again this check was from a side job (that I DO pay taxes on despite making <$1100/year at it - figured I'd cop to that too) that I enjoy doing very much and it keeps me active.
