WWYD if your condo shut down the water for 12 hrs

I wouldn't think twice about it. I would have filled a pitcher of water and had in the fridge to drink. And maybe a bucket of water to flush the toilet.

I don't understand the need to fill up sinks & the tub.

Filling the bath tub gives you enough water to flush

Stuff happens. I don't live in a condo, but in a house I own. 3 weeks ago I had a problem and it took 3 days to get a plumber out to fix, and we had not water for 3 days. Used buckets of water filled from the neighbor's hose to flush the toilets. Showered at the gym. Bought six two gallon bottles water.

so the above happend so dh and I did what we could we bought bot bottle water for the cats and us and we filled up the tub and just went with it

However others living in the condo made such a stink that they turned on the water line early

I know I don't sound understanding but how hard is it to fill your tub and a case of water from Walmart is only 4 dollars store brand

I'd roll with it....12 hours really is no big deal. Just wait until later to do the dishes or laundry, use a bottled water to drink. Eat out if I needed to (that's a good excuse for not cooking in my world!). Why complain? Having the water off for a while while they fix it is better than having the problem compound and end up taking even longer to fix later.
