WWYD - BWV vs CCV

So then you have to pay commissions to sell and another round of closing costs to buy? What does that net you?

Let’s say BWV for $120pp gross on 150’points. $18,000. Less estoppel and 9% commission: down to $16,230. Now subtract out another $750 in closing costs in a new CCV contract. $15,480.

So, you are netting $103pp if you can get on the higher end of the resale prices… no guarantee of that.

@$125pp CCV resale you are getting 125 CCV points. That doesn’t help you with getting more nights per year.

I’d keep what you have.

I was thinking along these same lines.

The result will be less annual CCV points in exchange for selling BWV 150pts.

It’s nice to keep BWV home priority option. I’d have a hard time giving that up unless these were more important to us: Years 2042+, or very high likelihood we’d be selling in ~10yrs.

last 2 years

What were all the construction timetables again? I think the last two years with the construction on the rooms and pool at BWV can throw things for a loop at the resort.

I know we switched plans to avoid construction and have the newer murphy beds in the 2 bedroom. We likely will be at BWV on our next stay in a 2BR.

That’s a good call - didn’t even think of that.

I also like the MK vs EPCOT/HS split stays. If you can get 3-4 nights in a room then it’s worthwhile. I wouldn’t do just a night or two though.
Definitely 3 night minimum except for I like to do 2 nights at AKV upon arrival. So I usually end up 2 AKV, then 3-5 BWV then 3-5 BLT (or I guess it could be CCV or Poly)
It just feels right to start a vacation that way, but don’t need to be at AKV much longer.

I don't think I saw it mentioned anywhere but did you get your BWV contract before restrictions? That could also play a part in selling it to buy something else resale if you'll go from unrestricted to restricted or even full grandfathered to nothing.
