The last time I was at the WWoHP was in Aug of 2010. I would like to know how a things have changed with regards to touring.
We are going back at the end of June/beginning of July (before the 4th) and will be staying onsite (i.e. early entry into HP).

Back in 2010 we did the following:
- Left HRH about 7a, got to the gate about 715a. There were more people than I thought lined up already...about 4 lines of people, maybe 30-50 people in each.
- They stated letting people in between 730a and 740am. I rushed to Olliv. and was within the first 10 people in line. By the time my group got there, it was after 8am and the line had not moved. I didn't confirm this, but I heard the reason Ollivanders wasn't moving was that there was some sort of filming being set up, or something like that.
- I got out of line and we went to FJ, posted wait was I think 30min.
-After that we went on FH and DC.
- Then we went to our 930a res at 3 Broomsticks.
- After this we went on the other DC coaster, and went in Zonkos and Honeydukes. At this point there was a line for Owl Post and Dervish.
- We then went and explored the rest of the park.
- We came back to the HP section after 5p (that's when they said they would let people back in). Here we did the single rider line for FJ.
- We then waited in line for Ollivanders. They said it was about a 45min wait, but it was less than 30min. We got in line at the Lockhart book displays. The wait wasn't that bad.
- We then waited in line for Owl Post and Dervish. We avoided these earlier because of the line, but it didn't seem to diminish. But when we asked the wait time they said about 10min. It was worth it. I just bought some postcards and had the postmark put on.

Some questions I have:
1) What time should we get to the turnstyles by - to be at the front of the pack when they let pp through?
2) Do they still let people through the turnstyles before 8a for early entry, and if so what time? Does the time change daily or is it consistent?
3) Is there a particular order we should tour HP in? Ollivanders, FJ, FooH, DC, shops?
4) When do the shops typically have a wait out the door and do some shops have longer lines than others?
5) Does the WWoHP still close at some point due to capacity, and if so when is it typically reopned?
6) Are there any other new items or need to know things? Any info will be helpful.

Thank you!

hotel guests using the early entry is the same now as when you went about 2 years back.

utilize the EE and do return to parry hotter place in the last hour the park is opened.

check the opening times of the park in case more hours have been added for your stay.
with early entry to the park, make sure the park will open at 9 and not 8 to the general public.

do what you did before.
be in the line 25 minutes or so before entry is allowed.

IF Ollivanders interests you, DO it FIRST...The line builds quickly and moves slowly all day

Park opens at 8a when we are there...so early entry is 7a...so we leave our hotel at 615a....so early lol

Thanks! Yeah it seems like you do this first, even if FJ builds up...but it's better to wait in the FJ line than the Ollivanders line. I think FJ was a half hr back in 2010 when we were there...the line moved too fast still at some point for picture taking.

Appreciate the feedback!
