WWOHP and July 4 weekend

OK - I already know that this will be an insanely busy weekend.

It just worked out that we will be at US/IOA post cruise. We plan to be there Friday after we get off the ship - rented a car so prob at Portofino hotel by 10 or so for check in on Friday July 1. Staying 2 nights at Portofino.

Our primary interest is WWOHP (no surprise)

My question is - should we attempt HP on Friday - even if we wont be in the parks until close to 11/noon ? Or would we be better off doing other things - and hitting HP early asap Sat morning?

Do you think crowd levels will be substantially different on friday vs Saturday?

We leave Sunday - so that is out

I think you should attempt HP whenever you can that weekend. It will be beyond crowded that entire weekend so the crowds will be the same on Saturday or Sunday. Friday might be a little better but I wouldn't expect it.
