ITA!!! She is one AWESOME person!!! :woohoo: :thumbsup2

Personally, altho I haven't checked in here for some time, I'm still on maintenance, but at a (still hopeful) losing point value of 19, because I gained a while back. No matter what I do tho, I can't lose anything! :confused3 My cholesterol took a total POSITIVE reversal tho, so something is working - I guess? :confused3 I'm still counting and journaling, but I think my body has gone into "save" mode. I've been NOT losing/and sometimes GAINING since MAY! :headache: Really struggling, but I DO still have many, many pounds gone -for good! I know/think I can keep THOSE away! ;)

:thumbsup2

WISHing you ALL success and control during these HUGELY tempting times! I'm right there with you! :rolleyes1

:grouphug:

 Hi stranger! So glad to see you posting tonight, you made me :) . I hear you about the stand-still, I really am starting to believe what they say about your metabolism slowing down after 40. It is so hard to lose anymore, it seems like I exercise more now than ever before, but that I am still only maintaining. Great news about the cholesterol, that is testiment to your healthy lifestyle. Hang in there!! I hope you will come visit more often.

Hello everyone!!! I really have been MIA on the DIS boards lately, and I feel bad! Hello to Tiggerlover, Mikamah, KimRaye, Zeraspride, Bareacuda and anyone else who checks in here! You guys have really been such a great support system for me! :grouphug: Well, I made Lifetime this week!!!! Woooo Hoooo! :cool1: I must admit that I am still in a state of shock about it. I actually lost 2.8 lbs this week which put me at 9 lbs under my goal weight! I really have been SO busy that I have not had time to eat. I know that sounds cliche (sp?) but it's true. I am having a party tonight for my neighborhood Bunco group and that along with the holidays, etc. has really got me running. I think I have finally figured out how not to stress eat! Hurray! I just hope I can keep this weight off. Sometimes I feel like it's just temporary, and I'm going to wake up one day like I used to be! I still don't feel like a "thin" person either. I've wanted to be "thin" for so long and now that I am (I guess I am!) it just doesn't feel real! Anyway, I've gotta run but I wanted to say hello and thanks to everyone for your support! I am still going to go to WW meetings hopefully every week (Especially now - I want to get all the new material that is coming out) and weigh in as often as possible. and I am still going to check in here whenever I can! Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season!! :santa: Have a great weekend!!

Hello everyone! I haven't checked in in so long! We had an awesome time in Disney in Oct.- I gained 7 pounds and lost 4 of it when we got home and then maintained at that weight for awhile. I'm not going to be trying to lose anymore weight, though. Actually for the next 9 months I will hopefully be gaining some weight- yep, I'm pregnant! We found out last week and I'm due the beginning of Aug. I'm starting out my pregnancy about 15 lbs. less than with DD and now that I know how hard it is to lose the weight, I'm going to try to be much healthier this pregnancy! Looks like everyone has been doing a great job- keep it up. I'll stop in periodically to see how everyone is doing!

I joined WW on 11/13/07. I am so ready to change my life. I am tired of being overweight and I do not have an excuse. I do not have a reason - I just let myself get to this point and I have finally accepted responsibility for what I've done to my body and am SO excited to get to a point that I want to get to!

My starting weight was 261. 11/20/07 I weighed in at 258.6. 11/27/07 I lost 3.6 and weighed in at 255. This past week 12/4/07 I weighed in at 254.8. :sad1: I AM SO DISAPPOINTED! I am really angry at myself for losing only .2 of a pound. I feel like I could of done so much better but in all honesty, I did pretty well with my points, I stayed on track...I don't really understand how I had such a tiny loss after such a big loss.

I'm disappointed in myself, looking for what I could of done better. Any tips that I should know that make this process easier? I'm in this for a long haul...life changing. I am not dieting - I am changing my life. Dieting means that it will eventually end and I am not going to ever go back to how I am now. I just want to know from you experienced WW...how do you bounce back from a tough week? I am mentally beating myself up over it and I really don't want to do that.

Started at 145 on the 6th, down to 141 today (9th).

How do you track your weight on WW Online? I can't seem to figure it out!! :confused3

:welcome: So glad you have decided to join our little group, the more the merrier!

I wouldn't beat yourself up too much, look at the whole picture, in three weeks you lost 6.2 pounds, that is terrific. I have done WW for a long time and one thing I learned is that some weeks you are going to see some great losses and some weeks some small losses. But no matter what, a loss is a loss and should be celebrated because it wasn't a gain. Some weeks you will stay exactly the same, some weeks you may have a gain, take it all in stride and just keep plugging away. You have a great starting attitude as this truly is a lifestyle change and if you keep that attitude you will be a success.

There are some great, supportive people here and we are all here to help each other along in our journey.

:welcome: Congrats on your first loss, that is wonderful!

I do not have access to eTools any more, but if memory serves me correct you hit the button for track weight and it will prompt you through entering your weight loss each week. Maybe someone else here who is a current subscriber can tell you more specifically what you need to do.

Hi everybody,

Isn't it a crazy time of year. I wish I had more time to spend here, but there is so much to do, and I find if I come home from work and turn on the computer, I don't do anything else, so this week, I've been trying not to come on-line. I was up 1.4 on tuesday after a good loss last week, so I'm not surprised. I definitely was not on program. This week is going better, I've been working extra hours, and I'm walking most of the day at work, and there is no time for snacking. A rep brought a huge box of deluxe whoopie pies to work yesterday, and I took a very small piece of one, and even though it was delicious, I stopped at that. There is so many temptations around I definitely need to chose wisely. Realistically, I am looking to maintain over the next couple of weeks. I have some healthy weekend plans, and will hopefully be real good this week, so when next weekend comes, I'll be able to splurge.

I wish i had more time, but want to congratulate everyone who has seen a loss, and to those of us who are maintaining, or gaining a little, cut yourselves a little slack, enjoy the holidays, and never give up. We can all do this!!!!!:cheer2:

Have a wonderful weekend all!!!

 Hi, Mik! I am glad to see someone else posting! I know how busy this time of year can be, I barely have time to breath, much less spend computer time, but I am pooped and need to vegge so here I am! Sorry to hear about your gain, but glad to hear you are OP this week. I hear you about the temptations, they are all around lately and this coming week in my office will be the absolute worst week of them all. We have to be strong and make choices, I have learned to take a tiny taste of something I really want so that it isn't calling my name all day.

I am not sure how much time I will be online this week so I figure I better get my holiday wishes out now, just in case. To each and every one of my WISH friends, thank you so much for being here to support me and thank you for being here to allow me to support you, you all contribute in some small way to my overall success and drive and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Many wishes to you all for a very Merry Christmas or a belated Happy Hannukah or just a Happy Time, if you do not celebrate holidays.

I had a 2.8 weight loss this week, bringing me to a new low of 184.6!!! I was a little surprised because I haven't been doing the best in the eating dept, but have had some stress with my mom's health but haven't been stress eating, and then I remembered all the shovelling I did this past week, and think that helped. Only .4 to go and I'll finally have my 25 pound wish clippie. Something to help me through the holidays.

Thanks debbie for the wonderful holiday wishes, and all the support over the year. It's hard to believe another year has past. Have a wonderful Christmas.

I hope everyone here has a wonderful holiday season, and 2008 will be a losing year for us all!!!

 Yippee!!!!! I am so happy to hear about your loss this week and only .4 to go until 25 pounds....AWESOME!!! I am so PROUD of you!!!! :grouphug:

Merry Christmas!

Just checking in after my big eating and drinking days. I did weigh myself, and am up 4 pounds, as expected. I am back to work tomorrow and will start journalling my food again, and hope to lose some of that by the new year.

Had a very nice relaxing holiday, though the days before were a little stressful with my mom coming home from the hospital. She really needed to go to rehab, but with the holidays, just wanted to get home, and will have visiting nurses and pt to help, but I worry about how she'll do at home. Many of her health problems are lifestyle related, and it motivates me to not follow in the same path. I want to be a more active and healthy person when I get older.

My son will be going to school 5 days starting next wednesday, and two mornings per week, I will have a full 2 hours before work, and am committing to exercise right after he gets on the bus. The other days I have an hour, and will try and get at least 1-2 short walks in before work. January is usually a good month for me to get back on track.

Hope everyone here had happy holidays, and hope to see you around in the new year!!!!

Just back from weigh in....

Not bad for my week, up only 1 lb. This past week was too cold to go on the lake so... no extra points for activities:headache:

Only 1 lady lost this week in the group, at 4.6 !!! Good for her!!!

I remember one thing.... I have the rest of this week to lose it and a bit more.

Hope everyone does well in WI this week:cheer2:

Ann

The holidays are tough on the best of us, just way too many temptations and seasonal treats. The important thing is that we get right back on program.

I faired pretty well over the holidays and came back from vacation the same as when I left. Now this weekend has been a different story, I seem to have the munchies. Tomorrow is a new day and WI isn't until Wedesday morning!!

Hope everyone is doing well and all the best to everyone in 2008.

Hi all!
Just joining in. I started WW on 12/12 and so far have been doing well with weight loss. I weigh in tomorrow but as of last week I was down 9.6 lbs. I had lost 18 lbs last year following a healthy eating plan with a friend that lost over 100lbs. She used to hold a weekly support group but has since stopped having her meetings. I found that I really needed those weekly meetings....I put 14 of the 18 lbs back on from June to December  so I decided to give WW a try. I love looking forward to weighing in...it really motivates me to eats right. I'll be back tomorrow with my new weigh in! Nice to meet you all!

:welcome: jennifer!! Congratulations on your loss to date. That is awesome for you to stick with ww over the holidays. This board is a wonderful place for inspiration and support. Good luck!!

I on the other hand totally went off the ww wagon over the holidays, and am starting fresh today. I gained 3.2 pounds this past week, after a gain last week, so I am ready to get and stay on track. I went back up over 190, which was a number I never wanted to see again, so it's week one of ww for me, and I will be back in the 180s next week!

Bareacuda- Hope you had a good week, and you lost that one pound from last week. It is a tough time of year, but you can do it!!!

Tiggerlover-Congratulations to you for staying the same over the holidays. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

Happy, Healthy, Losing New Year to all!!!!
