WW Weekly Weigh-in

Just stopping by to say hello. I weighed in last monday, but can't weigh in til thursday this week, so I'm hoping for a decent loss, since the past 2 weeks have been gains. I have actually stayed within my points for the last week, and feel like I'm on a good roll. Hoping to stay there.

mikamah, keep that roll going!!! Good luck on your weigh in this week.

I weighed in tonight and after 10 days of vacation I still managed to lose 1.6 pounds!!! :cool1: I was happy with that as I am now down 7.6 pounds in 7 weeks....an average of a pound a week is good for me. If I keep up with this average I will make my first goal by Thanksgiving!!!!! :cool1:

A great little blurb from my Weight Watchers meeting tonight....."If you bite it, write it!" And it is so important to account for every bite as those little tastes have a way of turning into a couple of tastes, then a few tastes and then POINTS. So no matter what program you follow, the bottom line is to be accountable for everything you eat, even if it is just a taste.

Onward and downward my friends....WE CAN DO THIS!!!! :cool1:

Thanks, Katy. I know it is progress, but I had a sad realization today when I was entering my loss into weightwatchers.com. I went under the next weight milestone and lost 2 PTS from my daily total.....ugh! I know it is all for the good, but 2 PTS is 2 PTS. (Okay, enough whining from me now!)

I was down -1.2 this week. Slowly- but surely!! That is a total of 7.2 since July 31st.

Woo Hoo! Slow & steady is the way to go (at least that is what everyone tells me ;) ) You are more apt to keep the weight off that way.

I weighed in last night and lost .6. I was hoping for a bit more since I had that huge gain last week. I am happy I didn't gain again though.

Mermaid, looks like we are running about the same, I started on 7/25 and I am down 7.6, you are so right, slowly, but surely!!! Congrats on your loss this week. Keep up the great work.

I was down 2.4 today at weighin. I'm very happy since I had gained the past two weeks, and had gone back over 200. I am down to 198 again, and detemined this time to never go back over 200 again!!!!!!

I do agree that slow and steady is the way to go. I've been doing WW this time for one full year, and though I'd loved to have lost more, I'm down 28 pounds, and plan to keep it off.

Congrats to everyone on the losses.!!! Keep up the great work!! :cheer2:
 
Congrats to everyone, keep up the great work. I have been absent for a while. I went to Disney (ddp) Middle of August, home a few days then Jobbie camp for 4 days, then State Fair (all the food on a stick), home a few more days then I went back to disney (ddp) for 5 days last week end. My only saving grace was that I pushed my brother around all the parks for 4 days. But now it's time to get back on track. I go to weigh in on Saturday morning. I will report the horrible news. I know I am up, I'm just not sure how much. But I need to get back on track. I go back to disney(ddp) in a little over 2 weeks for a week, then my dh and I are going on a cruise for a week with my parents in Dec. Then it's Christmas. This is not looking good! I'm excited about the trips, but worried about the food. Although I keep telling myself this is a lifestyle change, not a quick fix. It might take me a little longer. But going to WW should help me stay alittle bit on track. I'll report back on Saturday.
 
Kathy- Let me tell you first that I am very, very jealous of all your trips, but very happy for you. Even if you gain after all the fun you had, don't give up. Stay on track between trips, and strive to do the best you can and you'll be fine. Good luck at weighin tomorrow. Hope you are pleasantly surprised with a loss. :thumbsup2
 
No loss for me this week in fact I gain 2.5 lbs. Back on the wagon and on ward to the loosing side. Being out of work for the past 6 wks after gall bladder surg and really put me behind with working out also. Back to work next week so I hop it will be better for me.

Thanks for the support. You were absolutely right. I was nervous I was up and was going to be thrilled to stay the same, but when I weighed in I was down 4.2 lbs. for a total of 19.8 :Pinkbounc I was so happy and now ready to get back on track. It just shows how much excercise helps. Pushing around my brother in a wheel chair for 4 days was alot of work, but it really burned the calories.

Weighed in this morning. Down 1.2lbs. Thrilled that it was a lost, but disappointed it wasn't more. I snuck in a weigh two days ago and it said I was down over 3lbs. I know things fluctuate big time! Next week may be better. I had started exercising and hurt myself. So I have been way under my normal activity, that will pick back up this week because my leg is doing much better.

Congratulations to everybody else! Its so encouraging to see you doing well and to know we are in this together.

I'm down a very surprising 3 lbs. this week!!! It's TOM, and as of yesterday, I was UP 2 (which means, I lost 5 lbs in a day :-))... Gotta love how TOM affects our weight...

...Sometimes, I SOOOOO wish I was a man!!!
 
I have had a busy few days and I pop on over to see how everyone is doing and I am so happy to see all of the losses here. Congrats to you all, your hard work is paying off!! Keep up the great work!

As for me, I had a decent week until yesterday, went to the Blue Angels airshow and was soooo hot had a slushie and shared a pretzel and lemonade......then we went out to dinner with our friends and I had a burger, broccoli and salad. The scale wasn't too happy with me this morning, even though I did walk a few miles, so today it is right back to the basics and hopefully my slip will not derail me come weigh in on Tuesday. But I am not beating myself up over it, I made the choices and I will live with what the scale says.

I was down .6 today at weighin. I am happy to have lost since I ate a lot of junk over the weekend and was afraid I might have gained. I'm on track today, and need to stay there and lose this weight!!

Kbmoo, Katy Belle, and Disneygirl- :thumbsup2 Great job on the losses!!!!! It's so motivating to hear how well everyone is doing!!!

Pigletspal- Hang in there and don't give up. It's very frustrating to gain, but try not to dwell on it and get back on track. Sorry to hear of your surgery. Hope your recovery is going well. I'm sure it will be easier when you get back to your old routines. Good luck. You can do it!! :cheer2:

Hey Tiggerlover, it sounds to me like you made some pretty fine choices at the air show. I'm guessing there was fried dough, french fries and sausages all over the place, and you stuck with the lower fat choices. :thumbsup2 I hope you see a loss tomorrow. Keep up the good work. :cool1:

A .6 loss is always better than a .6 gain. So congrats to you for your loss Mik. At this point in my week I would be happy with a .6 tomorrow when I weigh in. Thanks so much for your encouragement, I think encouragement from everyone here is a great motivator and this week I can really use it. I am so struggling with losing 2 PTS per day, it is driving me crazy, but I know I can do this!!! Onward and downward we go!
