OK, last week I got my 10 pound ribbon, total loss for 6 weeks 11.8. I was really happy. A little too happy.

I weigh in tomorrow morning and i'm going to have at least a 3 pound gain. I'm so mad and it's taking a lot not to eat everything in my house. I know it's my own fault, but i'm really upset. I didn't do my water, ate more bread than usual, plus Easter.

Have any of you had set backs and how do you get through it???

Also, I was thinking of trying the Core Plan. Right now I'm doing Flex, just wondering if Core might be more strict for me. I really need to kick it into high gear. Anyone doing Core that has done Flex and can compare the two. Most people at my meeting are on Flex and it's the one I was most failiar with (123) so that's what I'm doing.

A few weeks back I was down 8 pounds and went to a Sales Meeting in Vegas - needless to day I came back 3.4 pounds heavier. I got right back on track and am down 12 1/2 now and hopefully when I weigh in tomorrow I will report another drop. We all have our bad weeks - the key is to get back on track and keep on going. You'll do it! :goodvibes

I couldn't have said it better! :thumbsup2 DisAddict, that week is over, this week is Just Beginning! :goodvibes Best WISHes! :cheer2:

I haven't posted since March 29 and at that time I was down 10.6 pounds. I went to WW this morning and to date have lost a total of 14 pounds! Yeah!! Now that DH is out of the hospital and on the road to recovery I can focus more on myself. I want to lose at least 6 more pounds before we go to WDW on May 21. That will be a total of 20 pounds. I hope everyone else had a good week too. Annmarie

Just weighed in & I'm down another 1.4 pounds for a total of 14 - Yipee! I have 3 more weigh-ins before our Disney trip and hope to be at 19 pounds which is my 10% goal by then.

Well I havent been on here for a while now. Congrats to all you losers out there!! I actually dont weigh in until tomorrow morning but I am hoping that tomorrow will be the day that I hit my 30 pound mark and can change my clippie. I have a little under 3 pounds to go. Good luck to everyone with their losses in the coming week!!

CONGRATS to all the losers this week, I unfortunately do not have a loss to report, but I do not have a gain either...I stayed exactly the same this week, which in a way is a good thing...at least I didn't gain. I didn't do to well on Easter, but did log in 23 miles of walking this week, so hopefully it will show on the scale next week. Time to kick the exercising up a notch this week.

Hope eveyone else has a good week!!!

Well my weigh in wasn't too bad. I was up only 1.4 pounds. Right back on track today. I beat myself up about it enough yesterday. Going to a meeting and this board really helps.

Is anyone here on the Core Plan?? I am thinking about trying it, just not too sure.

I love core...it's so much easier than flex! I'm not big into measuring and writing everything down. With core, you just stick to the healthy stuff, eat as much of it as you need to feel satisfied. You end up eating much healthier stuff, because you don't spend your daily points on high-calorie stuff. I'm always satisfied, never hungry, and when I get a craving, I can use the extra 35 points on that. The only challenge is eating out. You never know what they're sneaking into the food, how they're cooking it, and if it's truly core. But at better restaurants, you can ask them to cook your food in certain ways, thus keeping it core.

Down 2.4 today and made my it to my 30lb mark. :cool1: Got to change my clippie today!!! Good luck to all this coming week.

:sad2: BAD weigh-in today. :guilty: UP 2.5 lbs, that's 3 in the past 2 weeks, and I'm not doing anything different. Unless, Easter is catching up with me? :confused3 All I know is, it has to start coming down. :thumbsup2 I want to be back to below goal before I leave for WDW! :yay:

Technically, I should change my clippie as I'm only at 74 lbs (this happened once before too), but I'm leaving my 75 UNLESS I don't lose next week, then I'll demote myself. WAHHHHH!!

Back on track for me.

Congrats LOSERS!!! :cheer2: :cool1:

Kerry....you look good in gold...WTG on the new clippie...I am hoping for my 25lb'er this week!!! CONGRATS!!!! :cheer2:  :cheer2:

Kim...don't worry you won't have to change your clippie...you'll be back down in no time!!! :thumbsup2

I was down .6 last night. This hanging around 7-8 lbs above goal is going to be the death of me! (ok, enough whining)

We talked a bit last night about eating frozen dinners all the time. I have one almost every day at work and sometimes even on weekends. Our leader said we should have 2 or 3 max. per week! Uh oh. Then another WWer said that he was eating them 1 or 2 times a day and kind of stalled. So last week he ate no frozen dinners and dropped 6 lbs.!

So, I was pissed off and drove right to the grocery store after my meeting. Today I have a huge salad with added red bell peppers and chicken short cuts! I have my 5 fruits and veggies here at work. Dh & I are not big cooks, so this is going to be hard. Not that we don't know how to, or like cooking, we just don't have any time. We work opposite shifts and one of us is then home with an active 2 year old. I am bound & determined not to eat a frozen dinner this week and see what happens though!

As far as frozen dinners are you meaning, WW Smart Ones?? I really like some of those.

Aslo another time saver, Birdseye has vegetable steamer bags. Just throw the bag in the microwave for like 4 minutes and they're done. I love them. About 4 servingings in a bag, but if you eat the whole bag it's only 2 points.

I have completed one week on ww as of today. I am down 4lbs which I was a little disappointed in because I was starving all week. I woke up hungry and went to bed hungry. I am satisfying my points each day :confused3 Maybe its just a detox from all the candy & cookies I used to eat. I felt like an addict on withdrawal this week....moody, no energy at all, and tired. Hopefully, next week will be a little better. I just want to have some energy again. Any suggestions for a newbie please feel free to comment.

You should NEVER be that hungry...you'll cause your body to go into starvation mode and wreck your metabolism, causing your body to fight to retain all the weight. If Flex plan is not working for you, try Core plan! It allows you to eat until you're satisfied, but you must eat healthy stuff! It also gives you 35 discretionary points to use on snacks, and rather than go hungry, you should USE those points! The trick with Core is to eat something before you get VERY hungry, and stop before you get VERY full. AND, you should not try to go beyond 2 lbs a week! This is a lifestyle change, not a race! Congrats on making the commitment to a healthier lifestyle, and good job on the weight loss!

I usually eat Lean Cuisines, but if they aren't on sale I do buy the WW ones.

Great idea with those Birdseye steamer bags. I am not very big on veggies, but I am trying! I'll buy some of those next time I hit the grocery store - thanks!

My morning weigh in was great! I lost another 2.2 lb for a total of 18.8 lb in 6 weeks!! Next week I will be switching my WISH ribbon to a 20 lber!

Another 2 lbs and I made my 10%!!!! Yahooooo!!! I'm so excited! Now on to the next 10%!!
