BamaBaloo - WOO HOO! :cheer2:

DisneyFanz04 - I don't even really get the whole oil thing. I don't cook that much and only eat salads when we eat out (salad goes bad way too fast for me to buy some for at home). So, I really don't know how I am suppossed to get it in. Even when I ask in meetings about it they always say to put some on bread. Well, I am not going to waste pts. on oil and bread every day! Oh well!

I'll be doing the Minnie 15k too! :wave2:

I asked my leader about this this morning...she said that the healthy oils help obsorb the vitamins and nutrients from the veggies and grains. I also thought it was a waste of points, because you figure you would use 2 points on oil, and 4 points on 2 servings of milk...so there are 6 points that you really don't get to "eat" BUT...she said it is very important, she actually told me to call my DR and ask him why it would be hurting my stomach because I really need to have it. SO I am going to try it again this week and see what happens. I will try to incorperate it with my cooking and see if that helps any.

I am down another 2lbs this week!!! WOOOHOOO go me go me!!! :thumbsup2

I WILL make 10% next week!! That is for sure...I am going to work my butt off(no pun intended, ok well maybe :teeth: )

OH yeah!!! I get to change my clippie too!!!! How's it look??? :goodvibes
 
Well - I am UP 3.6 lbs. this week - the week in Vegas for Sales Meetings did me in - the food choices were not good and it was eat or starve - so today it's back on track and I'm going to try my best to get the whole 3.6 off!

It will probably fall right back off this week if you stick to plan. My friend (also on WW) went to WDW for a long weekend in January and gained 3+ lbs. Then next week, that was off PLUS more! You can do it! :banana:

I love stir-fry, which I usually do in Pam, but sometimes use the oil there. Also, do you make couscous? Put the oil in that. You really need it in order for your metabolism to work properly. I lose much more weight when I include it than when I skip it.

By the way, I lost 1.4 lbs this week, and it looks like even more next week, if I keep going the way I've been going! I started back at work last week in a garden center, and if that doesn't keep you working out, nothing will!

Agree completely. It's great in couscous. I'll use it instead of using Pam, as well. I've also put flaxseed oil in oatmeal and yogurt - you can barely taste it. It just absorbs into the food. Learned that from my health food store. I never used oil before switching to Core, but make it a priority now.

I'll have to try adding flaxseed oil to my oatmeal & yogurt - never thought of that. I am not big on couscous though. Thanks for the idea!
 
I had no change last week. This week I'll try to stay away from my husband's oatmeal raisin pecan cookies!!

I did not go to weigh in yesterday since I was out of town on business. I think I will just wait and go next week.

knovak - As someone who travels I know how hard it is. I just really try to do good when I am home. I bet it works for you.

saturday97 - I am impresed with your DH.... So far I haven't lost enough for anyone to notice yet!
 
I laid off the french fries this week ;) and came back down a pound. :teeth:

I was down 4.2 today. I was glad because we did not have a meeting last week, our leader ws in Florida. Usually I can talk myself into cheating if I know I will be skipping a week. I really stuck to the wate, that made the biggest difference, I think. I did great for the whole 2 weeks except for 1 day......I ate 49 points worth of food on Sunday - but I wrote it all down! Usually when I do that I don;t even count the points.
 
I have not had a good few weeks. 3 weeks ago I lost 3.6 lbs!!! Then, last week I gained 2 lbs. But I weighed in tonight and had lost 1.8 of it again! So I am back on my way!!! :cheer2:

That's a BIG loss for someone who was almost at 25 lbs before WI! :cheer2: Good for you! :thumbsup2 Looks like you KNOW what to do! ;) New clippie looks MAH-VELOUS on you! :woohoo: :yay:

I did find the flax seed oil too - thank you!
BUT - and this is a huge but - it's 4 pts. per tablespoon! OMG!!!
 
But, you only need 2 tsp!! That should bring it down a bit. Plus, I'd just start with 1 tsp in your foods - make sure you like it. Oh, and make sure you keep it refrigerated.

That's what I thought at first I was like no way am I wasting 4 points on oil, but you only need 2 tsp and that is only 2 points. :)
