WW Weekly Weigh In--- Part 2

I just used the multi-quote for the first time and it was really easy. Woo hoo! Sometimes it's just the small things that make me happy...:lmao:

Oh no...that is huge! I am embarrassed to let you know how long it took me to get multiquote :guilty: sp I am impressed :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Congrats to iggbees, LPNmom, and Nancy. Happy to see good news on this thread.

I am FRUSTRATED: After goofing around this spring, I got serious, and started back on program last Friday, with WW online. Followed the program, tracked every bite, ate my points, even walked for 180 minutes. So my reward: a big fat zero loss this week--not a pound, not an ounce.

My assistant did the same thing a few weeks ago on her first week of WW, so I'm not surprised by it, just annoyed.

sorry you are so frustrated...I would be too, but don't get discouraged! Sometimes even when we do everything right, it just takes a little time for the scale to show it.

Are you getting in your good health guidelines each day? How about your weekly points...are you using those as well as your daily? I find that I do better when I use my weekly points and mix up the amount I use each day...some days I use a lot, then the next I won't use any, the following day just a few etc. It keeps you body guessing and mixes things up a bit. If you use the same amount of points everyday, your body gets used to it and doesn't work as hard to burn the calories. Hope this week is better for you!

congrats to those that are doing well this week! Sorry...don't have the energy to go back and quote each of you, lol. My neck and back are killing me this week and it's draining all my energy. Heading to the chiropractor today to take care of it.

Well, after my great loss a few weeks ago, I went crazy and put all of my 5.6 lbs loss back on:sad2::headache:. Why I am on this roller coaster with myself, I do not know. I did lose 2.6 lbs of that 5.6 lb gain since last week though, so at least I'm moving in the right direction again. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

lucybugmom...I printed that recipe and plan on making it soon. It sounds delicious!

I decided to take advantage of my WW employess discount and purchased a box of the WW vanilla smoothie. I added a frozen banana and a couple ice cubes and blended it up. OMG...it was so good!!! Has anyone else discovered these??

Don't get discouraged. My sister always gained weight the first week or two of WW.

This is exactly what I do. It works better for me than if I try to use my points in a steady fashion.

Happy Friday!!!

Thanks for the multiple quoting explanation. I have never understood how to do it. I'll have to give it a try from home when I have time to try and comprehend it:rotfl:

I am down .8 this week. It is the hardest fought almost pound I have ever lost! I did really well this week. I ate within points, I worked out 30-45 minutes everyday and I even said no to going out with friends for Mexican food on Cinco de Mayo:lmao: Then I started a week early and retained water:eek: I was so afraid to step on the scale because if I gained I was going to be so mad. Mostly because I have been waiting 2 weeks to watch my reward DVD of NCIS. I made it though by 1/2lb, so it's an NCIS weekend for me:woohoo:

Have a great weekend everyone!!

well, it was really 9 days, but still, I was very happy to lose 2. I JUST passed pre-baby #2 weight today, so it was a big day for me. Now onto the few more pounds for pre-baby #1! Thanks to everyone for their comments on these boards...they really help to keep you going.

Hi NC.....I just learned that it's very important to weigh in at the same time each week. I did it wrong.

I have officially been on WW for one week. I stuck to my daily points and didn't use any other points. I had points left over each day that varied from 3 to 13. It's only my first week.

I weighed myself on my bathroom scale last Friday morning to start, but I don't know exactly what time it was.

When I woke up this morning at 6am to use the bathroom facilities, I jumped on the scale twice. Not one pound lost. I was very upset.

I stayed up and after about an hour....and many more bathroom stops.....I jumped on the scale again and had a 2 lb loss. I felt better. I logged it online.

Somewhere around 11am I was getting very hungry and didn't have any food yet. Before I ate something, I used the bathroom facilities and once again jumped on the scale and it was another 2 lbs. lower....totalling 4 lbs. total loss in one week. What a difference. I went from zero to 2 to 4 lbs. lost. I already plugged in 2 lbs. lost so I'm sticking with that. But mentally I'm using 4 lbs. How strange is that???

I think I'll weigh myself around 11am each week from now on. :rolleyes1

Hi! I am not sure if I should post here or not but I thought I would at least ask!

I am down 40 lbs still of a 50 lb loss from last September. I am struggling with diet now. I burned out on my other diet and am looking for something different. I am considering doing the WW online program. Anyone here do the online program?? What is it like?

Let me say this, I have been on WW several times in my life starting at 16 years of age. I am always successful with weight loss but have always let it slip back. I am determined with my current weight loss NOT to gain it back so I am hoping that WW will help. The last time I was on WW was back in 2002 or 2003. They counted points. Is it still the same or different? Any advice?? I currently weight 185lb. TIA!:goodvibes

i just wanted to say thanks so much to all who wished my good luck with my presentation. I PASSED! i have to rewrite some parts of my paper, but they liked my presentation and thought i did a good job. i'm so happy because that is such a load off my back. i can't wait to start getting back into eating healthy and exercising again, because boy do i need it!

I did the same thing as you, several WW tries before this last successful one. I am following Simply Filling, which is the old Core plan but it is not widely spoken about, it is discussed in week 6. Momentum is the plan now, it is point based.

I decided that this time would be a life change for me, I avoided the point thing and went with Core in order to modify my eating habits but still have the freedom not to obsess about points for every meal. This worked for me but honestly, it took a year for me to lose 30 pounds. I am okay with that, rapid was not my goal.

I think you may want to decide how much you want to lose, what your lifestyle is and then decide how you want to accomplish this. WW works for me but I need meetings to be accountable, i would not do well with online.

If you have questions we can help.

I WI the same day at the same time each week for this reason. What is important is that you are heading in the right direction :thumbsup2 Great job!

Awesome!

Ladies, it is one of those weeks! :headache: I want to eat everything that is not nailed down and am not having much success staying away for food in general. I WI tomorrow and am not looking forward to it, wish me strength to slow down!

I hope you will be back on track again soon!

Well, I'm home from a week in Chicago, and will weigh myself tomorrow morning to see the damage. Then I'll weigh again next Monday to be back on schedule. I had a wonderful time and some good meals (and a few too many desserts), but am ready to be back on track for four months of 'getting down to business' before my WDW trip and cruise in September.

I ONLY GAINED ONE HALF OF A POUND ON MY VACATION! :cool1::woohoo::thumbsup2

Now, the BIG thing will be to get off the vacation mind-set now that I'm back on my more sedantary work schedule. Although I will be adding in swimming now that the pool water is warm enough!

(Please read the next commenet with your best Scarlet O'Hara accent) And I swear, as God is my witness, I will NEVER have to ask for a seat belt extension again!

Sixteen weeks of serious work ahead until my WDW/DCL adventure.

Weigh in day....lost 1.8 pounds this week. I was a little sad that I only lost 1.8 pounds (I know that is stupid of me, a loss is a loss!), so I called my little sis and she gave me a pep talk, she is back on WW program this week. I had a great week, considering I ate all my extra points this week on my mother's day night out with girls (martini are my down fall, who would guess it was 7 points). I had to starve myself :scared1:the rest of the week and workout each day. Hope everyone had a great week!
Starting weight 220.8
Today's weight:212!!!!

What a great victory! I am almost embarrassed to admit that I gained close to 7 pounds on my Disneyland vacation last September so I am always impressed with a week like yours!

No starving!

I had my WI tonight and it was not good. I gained 1.6 pounds. I had a cushion so it was okay but no more lapses like this week. LPNmom- one of my "treats" was a prickly pear Martini 7 Points :scared1:so I am back with all of you.....on track!

I am not doing very well at the moment, I gained 1 pound :sad2: I am not really sure why - I have been tracking and I stayed within my points. I seem to be stuck at that barrier of 80 kg, I just can't get below it... I guess the only thing to do is to keep going, but it is getting harder.
