WW Weekly Weigh In--- Part 2

esterhead-one of the women in our WW buddy group has a youngster at home too and she is struggling. She did change to Core and finds it easier than Flex but she said that unless she plans ahead and does some cooking ahead of time she has a hard time. Either way she finds each week is tough and I cannot imagine how she does it. I had a very high metabolism when my kids were young and running through the house and lived on quick snacks.

I've been lurking for a while and just wanted to introduce myself. I started on WW on 9/8 and so far I have lost 7lbs. I'm pleased with this, especially because I've never really had any luck with dieting before. My husband is at bootcamp and normally food would be my comfort, but not this time (though I got a puppy which takes up the majority of my time at home).

Please thank your husband for his service and thank you as well. It is a tremendous sacrifice to be separated especially in the time we live in.

I lurked a while before I posted and was so glad I finally began to participate. WW is working for me and I never really stuck with anything else so I am happy to hear that you are off to such a great start.

Hi everyone!

I am in a state of shock...here I thought I lost a total of 5.4 pounds since I started in Sept...well, the girl I had last week weigh me in did not put the NEW weight down...

I have lost exactly .......10 pounds!!!.............WOoo Hooo:woohoo:

The amazing thing is that I have been a bad girl tracking my food, and I ate out twice last week...veal francaise...Mmmmm...but I was a good girl and only ate half the meal, and ate the entire salad and all the veggies.

I had 3 birthday cakes last week. I ate a sliver of each one.

It had occured to me earlier that if I don't indulge a little bit that I think and think about that food for a long time! :lmao:

Good luck to all of you this week! Keep up the good work, and remember it's not a diet, it's a lifestyle! Off to see the weight loss photos!

Hi everyone, I'm back.

Some of you may remember me but for those who don't I'm Tricia. I joined WW back in February and did really well until June. I lost 26 pounds and have about 20 or so to go. Once summer hit and the kids were home from school it was just so hard for me to attend my meetings. I quit WW and tried it on my on. :confused3 Fast forward to now and I'm justing getting home from rejoining. I attend the same meeting I did before and it's nice to still some some familiar faces there. I'm proud to announce that I'm 1/2 pound lighter than when I stopped going three months ago. :yay: So I look forward to going through this weight loss journey with all of you again.

 Hi everyone! I hope this finds y'all doing well. :welcome: to all of our newcomers, CONGRATULATIONS to all of our losers and :grouphug: to all who are struggling.

I've been away working on getting healthy again and (for the most part) I'm feeling much better than I had the last few weeks. Can't say as if my eating has been the greatest, I still tend to eat when I am stressed, and although I have put on a few pounds, I am still under goal (just under).

Ms. H......you look MAH-VA-LOUS Dah-ling!!! Love the new picture, your hard work is certainly paying off.

WB, Grumpy's Wife, glad to see you here again!

Welcolme! :goodvibes This thread is very supporting. Please stay around and join us..
Hi Rachel! I tend to be chatty and have a hard time reining myself in here ;)

Thanks!!! I've very excited to be joining in . :goodvibes

Nice work... and I believe whole-heartedly that the way to lose is to know yourself and your weakness.

I am EXTREMELY proud of myself and I just had to share. So, I decided to keep track of the exercise I've been doing in the month of September (walks at lunch or with the dogs, volleyball, exercise machines at the Y) Today I tallied them up all the minutes I remembered to record.... I worked out an average for 54 minutes a day. I haven't been this active since high school. Anyway, just had to share... I was excited!!!

hope everyone has a good tomorrow!

Rachel

Weigh in after 2 weeks away from WW and l lost another 2.8 lbs!! 5.4 total, and only 60 more or so to go!
WTG that's a great accomplishment

..and to be more diligent at recording what I ate on paper, and NOT in my head...
This is where I struggle too. I haven't journaled in weeks. I need to get better at it again. I was so obsessed with it in the beginning

This week's WW weigh in from Tues: I lost 1 lb!!

1.2 lbs down this week for me.

. Down 2.6 for a total of 72.4.

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: WTG

Does anyone have days that you just can't stop eating? I have been having that for 3 days now. Going over my daily goal. I am just so hungry!
Do you have days like that too?
I do, especially at that time of the month. I've tried to really be aware and keep Rice Cakes and grapes stocked. I usually start with water when I get the munchies. I've also eaten more popcorn in the last six months than I have in probably the last two years.

Just to introduce myself... my name is Rachel, I'm 24.
:welcome: The recipe sounds yummy!

Okay small victory here. We went out of town this weekend and I still lost 1 lb!!!!:dance3: I was so excited!!!!
Gonna go play WII fit now:yay: :yay:
WTG!! I need to look more into WiiFit. I'm just afraid I won't use it
I have lost exactly .......10 pounds!!!.............WOoo Hooo:woohoo:
:yay:

Wednesday is my weigh-in day. I was so anxious about going in today. I was sure I was going to have a gain. When she said "another three" I thought she meant I had gained. She just laughed and said her face would have looked a LOT different if it was a gain LOL

So my 0.6 lb gain last week and my 3 lb loss this week brings me to a total of 35.2 lbs lost. I felt so good when she gave me my award today, I cried. Now my next goal is to loose another 25 by Dec 17th - the day we leave for WDW

:woohoo: great job on your loss!!! You must be soooo proud of yourself! 35 lbs is amazing.

We're heading to WDW on the 17th too! Maybe we'll run into each other! Where are you staying?

Great loss DeAnna. :thumbsup2 Congrats on the award. What was it?

I joined WW on September 24th and I am going to weigh in for the first time today. I"m hoping for a loss, but I'm a slow loser and am prepared for the worst. However, I'm going to stick with it because I'm eating better and I know I will be healthier if I follow this program.

I lost my husband in July and I've been turning to food for comfort. I need to put a stop to that and make positive changes in my life.

Wish me luck!

It's good to hear that you are feeling better. Stress eaters understand how hard it is to deal with food and comfort. Talk about added stress....you get stress about stress eating! I tend to want to eat when I am stresses as well, but I also like to eat to celebrate, when I am sad and when I am bored. It's a pain!

Rachel- this is something to be proud of! Keep it up!

Wow! You are doing great! We will be in WDW that week as well, staying at POFQ

You have all the luck I can share with you. I think that just having a plan and having a meeting to look forward to will help with more than weight loss, you need people in your life to support you and this is a wonderful positive way to start. I am so sorry that you have this loss in your life, losing your life's partner and best friend is a void that nothing fills for a long time.

I am a slow loser too, but slow and steady means consistent weight loss and that the weight is lost as part of changing to health eating habits, not fad diets.

How fun!! We're staying at Give Kids the World. This is our first ever trip to WDW. We usually go to Disneyland every other year but haven't been able to go since 2005 due to Drew's medical needs. We are getting VERY excited

Thank you for your kind words. The loss is devastating, but I can't change it, so I have to move forward.

I lost 1.5 pounds today. Not as much as I would have liked, but, as I said, I'm a slower loser, so slow and steady is what I'm hoping for.

Thanks for the encouragement.

Antmaril, that is a great start! Think 1 pound a week, would be 52 pounds by next year!

(Not sure if that is how much you wanted to lose! LOL)

I am scared as tonight we are meeting friends at a Mexican restaurant. I have no idea how many points Mexican is...but I think it's alot with all the cheese and the beans! Maybe I should eat a yogurt before I go, and then I won't be tempted to overindulge. The only thing Mexican I like is the taco salad.

Just to let you know, I am going to Disney on the 27 and 28th, how exciting!! I just rented some points from a friend...Board Walk Villa here I come! One night in Old Key West too! :woohoo:

welcome to the thread! I am so sorry for your loss. I'm sure it has been very hard to accept

I can't wait to go!! We're going for DH's 40th b'day. I am a little concerned about crowds....we had originally wanted to go 11/30 - 12/4 (his b'day is 12/3) but I can't get the SW rewards flights on the 30th or the 1st, if we go the 2nd, the hotels are only available until the 4th etc, etc. I tried to get him to agree to 1/4 - 1/8 instead but he wants to go for the Xmas decorations etc. I only hope it isn't going to be way overcrowded.

I would love to stay at POFQ....we stayed at POR this past August and I really liked the look and feel of POFQ. This trip is super budget so Pop Century, here we come!

Thank you :) That would be cool to meet other DISers. We will be staying at Give Kids the World.

Where is that located?? I never knew there was such a place! Learn something new everyday. I'm glad your little guy is finally getting his WISH!

great job on your loss this week! :woohoo: Slow and steady is the way to keep it going!!!

welcome back Grumpy's wife....long time, no see  way to go on maintaining your weight all summer...that's really hard to do! :worship:

tiggerlover...hope you are feeling much better now. Looking forward to seeing you here more often now :goodvibes

I've been struggling the past month. Up and down, up and down. I am currently about 6 lbs more than I'd like to be. Every time I lose a little bit of it, I sabotage myself and go on an eating binge :sad2: ughhhh.

Yesterday's meeting was great though....my leader had a bad month too ~ or as she put it " September was not kind to me" We used yesterday to start off a new month, and a new attitude. Back to square one, thinking first, journaling etc. I am determined to get these 6 lbs off again!
Have a great week everyone!

1.5 is good - WTG! Every pound counts. Slow & steady keeps it off
