WW Weekly Weigh In--- Part 2

One of the gals on our WW message board posted this and I thought that you all would like it.

NancyG: thanks for the quote. Unfortunately it hits me right on the head, so now I am trying to re-write my quote.

I weighed in tonight and am down .5 of a pound. I will certainly take it, especially since I only followed the program for 1/2 the week.

I had a weight loss this week but can I just cry "whhhhaaaa".....down 2.2lbs this week but 0.2 from my 10% goal. Why just why didn't I walk more this past week; I really wanted to meet that goal this week. Don't get me wrong I am very happy with my lost; just never is enough I guess......hope everyone has a great week!!

All the recipes sound great; keep em coming!

NCRedding and Pei4ever, congrats on your losses this week!! NC, it is nice to be rewarded even when we are only 1/2 on, so enjoy your loss (that equals two sticks of butter by the way). Pei, I know how disappointing it can be to be just shy of a goal you set, you had a great loss for the week so enjoy it and then you have something marvelous to look forward to next week.:cool1:

Today was my WI day - I'm down 2 more lbs! :banana: Happy Sunday everyone!

Somehow through the weekend I managed to lose .2 today. Whew. Tragedy avoided. So today is Monday again & you can bet your bottom dollar I will NOT BE TAKING IT OFF. Starvation mode or not. lol.

I'll check in half way through this week and tell you all how I'm doing. Hopefully I'll be on track for a nice 1-2 lb loss. WDW is only 7 weeks away, there's no time for gains.

you did great considering your challenges!!! How much did you want to lose in time for WDW again??

I had my WI tonight and lost .8 pound. I was especially proud of Kadysmom, she has hot her 50 pounds :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

:woohoo: congrats on your loss! isn't it a relief to still have lost when you weren't on program all week? When I have weeks like that, I stress out so much about it and am so relieved when I've lost anyway!

2.2 is awesome!! SO close to your goal, but don't let it get you down! use it as motivation to get that 10% next week!! You'll get it!!!:thumbsup2


Thanks to everyone for all the well wishes....I'm feeling better from the accident. Seeing the chiropractor has helped quite a bit.

I weighed in at home today and lost 3 lbs this week!!!!:woohoo: :dance3: I had two really challenging days this week where I ate things I shouldn't have so I am beyond thrilled to have lost so much!!

We had my nephew's christening and there was not one thing there that was WW friendly to eat. At first I saw the salad and thought to myself "perfect...I'll just have salad and be fine". Then I saw the food server woman pour and entire bottle of dressing on the top of it :headache: Ughhh...I ate some of the salad and some pasta dish with chicken and peppers. It was really good, but not good for you;) .

Then DD came home for the weekend and of course wanted home cooked food. She requested chicken pot pie and apple crisp which I made and did not intend on eating, but of course did anyway :guilty:

Had another nephew's b'day party on Monday; bowling and pizza. Since it was a holiday, DH wasn't working so I made him take the kids. I had cleaning to do anyway, so I was able to avoid the pizza crisis that was bound to happen:laughing:

Hoping to lose 4 - 5 lbs by the end of the month so I can be back where I'm most comfortable. Have a good week everyone!!!!!

I was wondering if I could join! I've done WW 3 times in the past and I'm kind of afraid to go back...again. The last time I weighed in at WW (early summer) I weighed in at 168.0lbs...now i weighed myself (on a new WW scale i found at Big Lots!:thumbsup2 ) this morning and I'm 174.9lbs!!:scared1: Reading this thread has given me the boast to actually get serious about losing the weight!
I was apart of another weight lose thread here...but I kept forgetting to weigh-in and i forgot the name of the thread!:confused3
So I've started eating healthy today! I had oatmeal for breakfast. Snack was light yogurt*yummy!* and a 90 cal granola bar and just now for lunch i has a Smart Ones raviolli and a small side of salad! And...I havent had a POP yet today!!:banana: --thanks to crystal light!
Going to actually workout tonight!!! If I can stick to my workouts then i should be able to lose!! :woohoo:
I will weigh myself every wednesday!
P.s. 19 days till i go to WDW and DCL!!

Hi and Welcome to the thread. You'll get lots of encourgement here. Just think how good you'll feel in 19 days when you go to Disney.

I'm down 1.4 lbs this week. I'm so glad because my scale only said 1/2 pound so I was thrilled when they told me how much. I did a little better with drinking the water this week and hope to continue getting better with that next week.

Welcome! Good way to start your new lifestyle change and good for you fro not eating Taco Belle :thumbsup2 Nothing tastes as good as slim feels.

Good for you and your loss. Water is my nemesis as well but I always feel better when I drink enough.

I'm going on a camping trip this weekend with my husband and his family. So, I will have to take some healthy options for food for me (i've already been warned we are having dirty eggs on saturday. sooooooo not healthy). I'm not worried about the food as much as changing my WI day and time. I normally go Saturday morning when I wake up, which can vary from 8-10:30... can we tell I don't have kids yet? :rolleyes1 I like the consistency of weighing in around the same time on the same day and I know body weight fluctuates throughout the day. Anyway, we'll see... I may chicken out and use the no weigh pass. I kind of hate to do that so like I said... we'll see.

Anyway, hope everyone has a happy Thursday!

I'm not sure what "dirty eggs" are. :confused3 Have fun camping, you'll do fine. Just get out there and walk off those eggs.
 
Congratulations to all the wonderful losers here!! Hugs to any gainers. Those gains will make us stronger.

I am down .6 this week, and hopefully back on my slow and steady weight loss routine. Gonna stick with it this time. Journalling has definitely helped me. I did go a little crazy last night eating cookies, but wrote every single one of them down, and will have less flex points for the rest of the week.

slightly_obsessed- have fun camping. Dirty eggs sound interesting, and I'm sure if you have a small portion, you'll be fine. I'm guessing they are something like we eat camping. We always have bacon, and then we cook tater tots in the bacon grease. No wonder I gained so much weight this summer.

disneyismyname- Welcome and nice job skipping the taco bell. It's tough when the bad food is in your house. You can do it!!

Grumpy's Wife-Congrats on your loss this week!! I play the scale game too, and it drives me crazy some times. I weigh the same fully dressed with my shoes on as I do at ww with shoes off, and this week I thought I was going to have a gain, but didn't think I should have, but I did lose .6, so I was happy too.

cepmom- Congrats on 3#!!! That is awesome after such stress and challenges. Glad you are feeling better.

Pei4ever-Congrats. 2.2 is awesome!! We have to work so hard to reach those goals so that we don't fall back and gain it back. Next week you'll reach you 10%!!

No, I havent tried that one yet! I will now..I've never noticed that flavor before in the store! I always get green tea w/ raspberry. yummy! Two days now with no Reg/Diet pop! Feeling good ladies Feeling good!:dance3:
