WW Weekly Weigh In--- Part 2

I weighed in last night. I have gained and lost the same pound since my 5/5/08 weigh-in. At least I am exercising, but just can't get into the program--I hate when I do this. I know it works; I love seeing the weight loss; I ejoy eating foods that are good for me, but yet, I don't do what I am supposed to. Argh, so frustrating!!

Thanks for letting me vent!

Hello all! I'm back from the beach and an entire week off-program--my own little gift to myself for doing so well since joining in January. I'm happy to say that I weighed in yesterday morning and was only up 2/10 of a pound!! Those long walks on the beach every evening, boogie boarding and wave-jumping with the kids evidently balanced out my splurging!

I did notice something, though. . .my eating habits have totally changed even though I was OP. I simply don't want the same things I used to eat. We went to a HUGE seafood buffet one night, and I gravitated toward all the baked, steamed and grilled seafood and veggies. At one time I would have been all over all the fried stuff, but I simply don't want it now.

This week, back on program and getting to do all that laundry from last week!

I can totally relate. I lost and gained the same 2 lbs for so long that I lost count of how long it was

You'll get 'em next time

Congrats that is great. With that little of a gain you basically maintained. Awesome to have been off plan. Like they say its not a diet its a lifestyle change and you have shown that by passing up all the bad things at the buffet

Hi everyone!!
I hope you all are having a wonderful morning. It is going to be warm here and it is going to keep getting warmer. Good! Summer took too long to get here.

Yesterday was my weigh-in. I lost 2.5 pounds!

I hope to lose about 2 pounds this week. We shall see.

Have a good day everyone!:goodvibes
:yay: Great job.

That happened to me about six weeks ago. I was staying on program and exercising everyday but maintaining. I needed to changed up my exercise routine. I think my body got used to me walking 2.5 miles every day and I just got stuck there. I switched to doing a video every other day with walking on the odd day. It worked! I started using different muscles and raising my hands over my head with the videos and it jump started my loss again. Good luck I know you'll get through this.

I'm glad you had a good vacation and congrats on doing so well eating out.

WOW! Only .2 up! That's great!

I totally agree about buffet choices. ::yes:: I find that even when I "go off" program for a meal, I NEVER want to eat at a buffet b/c it is hard to find things I want. The fried stuff just doesn't taste as good anymore.:confused3

Laundry stinks.:laundy: :)

I'm kindof in this same boat. I have lost 9 lbs in 6 months. Granted I am still going down... Just ............ very ................ slowly.

The alternative is UP though. NO WAY! :sad2: :scared:

I thought I'd share this 2 point lunch I've been having all week. It's a turkey wrap. I finally found 0 point tortillas. La Tortilla Factory puts out a whole wheat tortilla that has 7 grams of fiber, 2 fat grams and only 50 calories. When you calculate it out it's 0 points. :woohoo: One ounce of turkey equals 1 point. I also put shredded lettuce, fat free cheese and one teaspoon of raspberry vinaigrette dressing. The dressing is 1 point for two teaspoons but 0 for only one. It's oh so yummy and only 2 teeny tiny points. Enjoy!

I know I've been on this board before, since I am a WW re-joiner for the 4th time. I know the plan works. I always lose weight, but just get tired of counting. Would love to make "Lifetime" someday. Just re-joined 2 weeks ago and forgot how much I really like eating this way. I feel better already. Kind of a "DUH" moment...Maybe, I could lose the weight and KEEP it off. What a novel idea.

Anyway, first week, only down 1.5 lbs, but hoping for a bigger number this week before I start settling in to the 1-2 lb per week cycle.

Wow that sounds delicious! Thanks. I'll be looking for those tortillas!

Not a lot of time as I am checking in from work since I have had little free time this week. Congrats to all who have lost and {{{HUGS}}} to those who are struggling.

I am gearing up to go on a mini trip so won't be around very much. Hanging in there for now and hoping to continue with good choices.

Have a great week.

Onward and downward.

:welcome: Glad to have you back!! 1.5lbs is great! Any loss is a good loss in my book. Keep up the great work!:goodvibes

Congrats to everyone on their loss and (((hugs))) to those of you who are strugling. It's a long road and their are bumps.

Ok - I weighed in today -- 2 weeks from my last weighin and I was down.....

7 LBS!!! for the 2 weeks. I know all the walking, tracking of points and drinkin my water at Disney made a difference.

I even have my husband helping me. He's home before me and we're not one for buying and keeping in the house, he likes his meat and food FRESH from te store so he picks up dinner a lot during the week. He now calls me from the store and reads me what is there and buys what is good for my for the day. That has really made a difference too.

Thanks for the welcome. Thursday is my meeting night and I'm down 4.8 this week for a total of 6.2. I'll take it. Hoping to have one more big week. We'll see...Nothing planned for the 4th except painting and redecorating, which will, at least, keep me away from the fattening BBQ food.

Best of luck to all in the coming week.

Great job, 7 lbs is awesome. Its great that your dh helps out too. Mine is just now starting to realize that it makes a difference if he helps too.

4.8lbs, that's awesome! Congrats on your losses thus far.

As for me tonight was also my weigh-in night and I'm happy to report that I'm down 1.6lbs making my total 10.4lbs lost. I'm not going to lie, I would love to see bigger numbers, I've been busting my tail at the gym, but 1.6 is still a good loss and pretty much right on track.

Best wishes to everyone this week.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it or not here, still trying to get through the 30-something pages lol, I picked up the Hungry Girl cookbook today at Walmart and it is great. Lots and lots of single serving recipes which is what I have needed. My first official WW day was Monday and I have done well staying on track. I picked up some 100 cal packs today to munch on while at work and some smart pop popcorn while watching all my disney movies waiting to book for 09. :goodvibes

Today for dinner I had some pierogies with smart balance butter and green onion and sauted zucchini squash for a side. It was a really really good meal. My Grandma gave me 2 zucchini from her garden and a bunch of cucumbers. I think tomorrow I am going to have some thin sliced pork chops with shake & bake, peas and maybe some more zucchini. I have comitted to sticking with WW for at least 3 months and so far, so good. Ok back to reading this monster thread. :surfweb:

I just found this thread and I love it. I joined WW in February. I am currently on the Core program and on Monday when i WI I was -29.2. I love the program and I get motivated hearing how everyone else is doing!

That is a wonderful weight loss!! I'm going in Dec. on the Deluxe Dinning Plan. I know what to eat, and I've committed to getting up early and walking around the lake at CSR just to burn some extra calories. My husband is like that too. It does make a difference!:)

I'm half way to my goal!!:cool1: And 1 lb to hit 70lb! Congrats to all the Losers;) and for those who have stayed the same or gained.....Stick with it, and the weight will come off!:goodvibes :goodvibes

I have joined WW more than 10 times. This time I started with flex, but i was down .2 then .4 then maintained. I tried core even though I was a little nervous. I LOVE IT. I think your weight loss is amazing. :worship:

I have a lot to go, but I have never lost 30 pounds EVER!:cool1:

I've been doing WW on and off since I was 11. It never stuck. I found a great leader who makes meetings fun and gives out great info. I was on flex for a long while, but my body got to use to it, so that's when I switched to core. Your weight loss is amazing too!! Keep up the great work!:goodvibes

This is the first time on WW that I dont feel like I am on a diet. I love it. I am trying new foods also. I found out that I love quinoa and barley and bulgar wheat. I also tried asparagus for the first time yesterday. I am not very adventurous as you can see....
