WW - Those 35 flex points question

Hi all,
I've been lurking on and off around here. I have a weight watcher question.
OK, I go to Friday night meetings (found an unbelievably wonderful leader!) . I'm following the Points program still so this is a points question. Let's say it's Friday and I still haven't used my extra 35 flex points, I go to a 6:00 PM meeting (no dinner yet). After the meeting can I decide to use my extra 35 points since it's technically still within the week?
 
I would say yes, as long as it's on that same evening. BUT, I've only been doing WW for three weeks, so I could be wrong. I'm still learning the in's and out's of the system. I'm glad you found a good leader. I'm still trying different nights to see who I like better.
 
I guess it depends when you usually start your flex points over again. Do you usually roll over at your meeting? The next morning? The day of your meeting? I usually start over the next morning, since that's what I've always done.

I would just be consistent. You can do anything you want, but remember...from weigh-in to weigh-in you may be looking at eating 70 flex points (if you eat your flexpoints like normal this next week)...and that may slow down your weight loss in the near future.
 
ALso keep in mind that you DO NOT have to use all of your flex points. I've had weeks where I don't use all 35.

Last weekend we had a picnic for my work. I don't think I ate 35 flex points in addition to my regular points, however I decided to just write them all down on that day and not let myself use flex points the rest of the week.

This was my first week back at WW. I lost 7.6 pounds this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It feels good to be back on plan.
 

As long as you consistently start your week for points tracking purposes, it doesn't matter WHERE within that week your meetings or weighins fall.

So, if you want to start your points counting for every week on Saturday morning, great! Just remember that you don't have to use all your Flex Points, and that you cannot carry unused Flex Points over into the next week. So if you don't use them by Friday night, they are gone.

I start my week on Monday mornings... it's just easy to start the week with a clean slate. And if I'm disciplined all week, I have lots of points left over to splurge with on the weekends!
 
Thanks. Oh I definitely don't use the 35 extra points it's just nice to know it's there! My tracking week starts on Saturday and ends Friday night. It took me awhile to find a good leader, she's actually won awards for the amount of people she's gotten to goal. The leader I used to go to is probably the reason I had stopped going.

That's a great question... I've only been with WW almost two 2 weeks and I actually had forgotten about my flex points. I've been so good these past two weeks (up until last night), but still think I stayed within my 26 daily points. My meetings are on Tuesdays and that's when I count the beginning of my week.
