I am just wondering how everyone uses their flex points. So...what do you do with those 35 beauties? :goodvibes

If the question is "how" I use them, then I'll typically have one meal a week (usually the night after I weigh in) where I go hog wild and eat whatever I want. I don't actually count the points that I am eating, but I know that the 35 are long gone. Lots of times it is a nice meal out, or just a big ol' greasy 7-meat pizza. Yummo.
 
I chose "most 21-30" As posted on the WW weigh in thread, last week I tried following the "Wendie Plan" and used 27 points. It's just a different way to distribute the flex points. Seemed to work because I lost 2.4 last week:yay:

The Minions tried to get me last night. Bad. I wasted 7 points on them before I got on my knees and made Nick take them outside. Banished, I tell you!
 
I just started WW so I am being pretty stringent on myself. I am trying to make sure I am eating the right things so that I actually see some weight loss. Ask me again in 3 months :rotfl2:
 
Have to agree with WI DisneyFan. The night after weigh in is cheat night. then it's back to plan. Unless there is something special going on that weekend.

I haven't used any of the 35 points................Yet. I say yet because I'm only on week five and I get 25 points. As I lose and my allotted points go down I'm sure I will start using the flex points.
 
For myself, the weeks that I do use my points, I don't loose to much, so I try my best not to use any. Tonight on the other hand is the day before St. Patricks Day, so its Corned Beef and Cabbage tonight at the inlaws.... I'm thinking of bringing my own Smart One meal though... we will see! I don't want to ruin the 5 pounds I've already lost this week!!!
 
Thanks for the feedback everyone! My reason for asking is because I have been on a plateau for like 5 weeks and my WW leaders keep telling me that I am not eating enough for my level of activity...I am going to up my intake this week and see what happens. I generally eat some of my activity points (never all) and just a few of my flex points (maybe around 10)....but I run about 20 miles/week and do some weight training as well, so they say I need to eat more....
 
I voted a few days ago, but didn't post. I voted that I use NONE of my Flex points. I have been BACK on WW since Jan. 2 and have not used a single Flex point. For that matter, I have stayed at least 2 points under my daily Target EVERY DAY except 1 during this time. And I NEVER use my activity points. I don't even bother to figure them out. And initially my weight loss was great. But during the last two weeks or so the loss has really slowed down, so I am trying to increase my points. This week I am aiming to AT LEAST eat my minimum points per day. I'm only a few pounds away from going down another point in my Daily Target, so I don't want to get too used to using the extra point, but I feel like I need to do something to kick my weight loss up a notch.........................P
