I'm back on WW PLUS after putting on a bunch of weight after our last vacation (cruise and eating in Italy were my downfall).

In December we're headed to WDW with friends and their 22 month old (and I can't wait)...

We’re doing Dining Plan and I know there are a bunch of great healthy options in many of the sit-down restaurants, QS and healthy snacks too....

I'm not foolish enough to think there won't be splurges during the week...

I'm looking for:

1) Snack / Treat splurge that is decadent and still not breaking the bank
2) Favorite healthy Quick Serve (any park)
3) Favorite healthy meals at: Mama Melrose and Whispering Canyon

Thanks in advance!

Can't really offer favorites..... But you know you do not have to order the meal as it is listed on the menu. I rarely eat a meal plated as described. It is way too easy to have the chef create within reason a meal that fits your budget. With regard to quick serve avoid fries and fried and you will do fine. We always get the fruit option at qs.

I am a 75-pound loser with WW and on our trip in August, I did a mix of indulging in treats and making sensible choices. I also brought my running shoes and got some morning workouts in to offset the food guilt. ;)

Anyway, there are quite a few good QS salad offerings, but I'd probably ask them to skip the dressing or put it on the side. Several places also have veggie burgers or grilled chicken sandwiches, which are a good choice instead of a burger. Even better if you skip the bun and fries. Pecos Bill's is great because you can add a ton of veggies to your sandwich.

For a nice sweet treat in MK, Aloha Isle sells fresh pineapple spears. :)

Thanks Coach!

I'm not timid when it comes to ordering something special, so that's not an issue....

I was really looking for things in WDW that may be really yummy already without breaking the bank of WW points...

Traci -

75 pounds is AMAZING congrats!:cheer2:

I've scoped out great healthy salads and am happy to give up fries for apple slices too...

Pineapple spears sound like a nice sweet treat too....although I know I have a couple splurges too.

We're taking friends and their 20 month old - I'm sure she will help me with my workout, pushing her, carrying her or chasing her around the parks..

Thanks for the info!
