WW for Mickey support groups or threads?

Hi,
I just started WW (again)- 4 days ago, and I am doing lousy!!!!
I've been talking about doing it for many many months and it took a mouse to light a fire under my butt! 4 days ago I also booked and put the deposit down to GO SEE THE WORLD FOR THE FIRST TIME (again) :cool1: And I realized that if I really want to fully enjoy myself, I really, really need to lose weight.
I have over 100lbs to lose. I am currently at 279 and would ultimately like to get down to 160.:eek:
I don't know if I can do this alone.
Is there a thread dedicated to people on WW?
Or to folks who have over 100lbs to lose?

If not maybe we could start one?

Anyone in?

Also I was thinking of doing a PTR that included my weight loss journey - as it is part of my planning for WDW - Is this an okay thing to do? Or do I have to do it seperately as a PTR and a WISH Journal?

Hello Leonsmom! Welcome and you CAN do this! There are lots of threads (as you can see from the above post) that would fit your needs.

I'm in the same boat as you with most things, but not the amount of weight loss but I'm close. My start was 222 and I'm now down to 197. I'm "aiming" for 150 but if I aim for that stinking weight for my height chart then I do pretty much have 100 pounds total to lose.

I have a few questions for you:
1) When is your trip to WDW? I find focusing on the days until my trip helps me A LOT! My boys and I have count down chain and each day when we remove a chain I know I only have "58" days left (thats today's number!). Of course I keep thinking of June at WDW and how I know I'll being shorts, tank tops, bathing suits, etc and that tends to keep me focused
2) Where do you live? Have you checked out local exercise and weight loss support groups? maybe find someone from your WW that will walk with you or be a local weight loss buddy
3) have you set up rewars wigh goals? I like to reward myself every 5 pounds with things like pedicures, massages, new magazine, disney dollars, etc etc. anything but food rewards works for me!
