WS to HS for Fantasmic

What would be the best strategy and timing for getting to HS for the Fantasmic VIP Dessert Party from WS? Not sure if we will keep the dessert party, but would like to know what our timeline would have to be. The dessert party we booked says 7:50.

Give yourself 60-70 minutes.
(Won't take that long, but it accounts for the "unexpected.")

Take the Friendship boat
or walk from Epcot's International Gateway to DHS.

Sorry, but you didn't book a dessert party. The only regularly occurring dessert party at DHS is the Star Wars dessert party at twice the price. Check the web site below for the description of what you booked. Notice that the word "party" is not used.

AWESOME MAPS! Yep, understand the dessert experience/seating, etc. We did HEA Dessert Party in November and it was awesome. Understood this is different (and cheaper!).

If you can keep a decent pace, walking is typically faster than the boat. The boat can make for a nice, leisurely ride though, but make sure you give yourself plenty of time.
