Wrong Pass Renewal Price on MDE?

Hi Everyone,
The Platinum Plus renewal is $619 plus tax. We need to renew soon, so I was checking out the totals in MDE including tax. The "label" for my renewal is correct (Plat Plus Renewal DVC), but the rate seems wrong. Including tax the total is $750.83 per ticket.

I called WDW (DVC was closed already) and they confirmed that the renewal is $619 +tax but he couldn't comment or help out about my MDE being incorrect. He essentially directed me to call back DVC.

I'm curious.... Has anyone else run into this?

Yes, something similar happened to me. It said DVC renewal but the price was for a new DVC ap. This was a few weeks before the recent increase. I called MS and was given the renewal price. MS didn't know why the wrong price was listed online. Going to activate my pass in a few weeks. Hope thst goes smoothly.

Huh.... It sounds like they didn't link the prices and labels correctly.

I'm glad I checked the prices before I went in and just renewed online. That would have been $400+ overspent. These passes are expensive enough without spending more for no reason!

I agree completely! I am trying to decide if I want to get AP's for my daughters or not. I "think" they will be going to twice in the upcoming year, but not totally sure. It is a good savings instead of buy two MYW tickets - but not such a good idea if they only end up going once. Decisions, decisions...

Has that always been the case? Because I thought that I did it online last year. Although I remember having to call because it didn't link properly. In the future, I will just plan to call and not bother trying to do it online at all. I am planning to renew my sons pass this week.

I had a similar problem this past weekend. I was able to do two non-DVC renewals and two new DVC annual passes on-line. However, I could not do a DVC-renewal on-line --- it kept coming up with the non-renewal price. Had to call MS to get the DVC-renewal price. Yah, and in case anyone is counting, I did 5 AP's ---- about $3300 .. Yikes.

Everything linked fine on MDE.
