Wrong name on Magical Express Luggage Tag

We received our magical express luggage tags yesterday. One tag was wrong and had my sons last name wrong - they put our friends who are going with us, last name for him. MS said to just cross that out and correct and that it was correct in the computer and would be no problem. I hope she was correct. Any one else have wrong name on luggage tag? We are now only 35 days from being HOME. It will be myself, DS (8) and DH. We have invited our friends who have a 6 year old DD. The three of them have never been to Disney. Two have never flown and 1 hates to fly. The flight should be interesting but will only be 1 hour 45 mintues. We are in a 2 bdrm at SSR. I am so excited. I can't wait to see them at WWD. I am glad we are able to introduce them to our passion of WDW. Thanks to DVC. I know we are going to have a wonderful time even if it probably will be crowded (Nov. 17-23). I'm counting the days down!!

Must have new CM's doing the luggage tags or something. I got mine last week for our November trip and my name was misspelled. I e-mailed and was told the same thing you were - the computer is correct so just write the correction on to the name tag. I figure that it is going to get to the right resort and from there they should be able to match it up with our room. Staying at Saratoga this trip too.

We are arriving on 11/8, three seperate ressie, two Ressie the info was correct, but mine (DVC Member), stated we are staying at the Swan, Well actually we are staying at VWL!, I called MS, they first told me to just cross out the Swan and write VWL on the tag, I told them I was not comfortable with that, But that I would do it, As I started to correct the tags, my phone rang, it was MS, the CM tols me that she talked to ME and asked them to send out another ME Package to us, that writing over the Swan tags was cheesey!!!!!!!!!! Two days later our new VWL tags arrived. Of course then Delta cancelled our flights from Atlantic city. and booked us on flight's with terrible flight times. Too make a long story short, we are now flying out of Philly, No longer a direct flight, our 10 month old infant will have to endure twice as many take offs and landings. But the good thing is we are still arriving in the morning and leaving in the evening on departure day. And besides, how bad is 6 days at VWL!!!!!!!

My tags have been wrong on my last two trips!!! I even spell the names for them-imagine that. The first time it was my daughters first name. In September it was my dad's last name! The bags arrived with no problem- even though they said they would mail me new tags and never did.

I just responded to another thread about booking ME. This is another reason I like using on-line. Not that it can't be wrong as it still has to be inputed but at least it's not a misunderstanding problem.

Yes anythng on the tag can be altered but the BarCode. As long as ME is imformed and their system is correct.

Sorry to go off topic, but does ME even take guests from the Swan?
