Wrong name on deeds

We have two contracts and my husband's name is wring on both. When we first signed up we were over excited and told the guy the name my husband is known by, not his actual name. I've never called him by his given name in our 30 years together. Anyway, when it came to signing, we still didn't notice and my husbands signature is a scribble (at best) so neither did our DVC guy.

The issue arrises when he wants to use his blue card for a discount or if APs ever come back. He has to show his ID which doesn't match. This is made worse by the fact that I didn't take his last name.

As non US citizens, we aren't sure how to rectify this.

I would contact MA and tell them you need them fixed to match his legal name.

I do not know exactly what it will take in this case as it’s simply changing it to a legal name. But, they can let you know what the exact process will be.

Normally, when you change title, it simply requires a new deed to be created and filed.

Post divorce, MA or MS was able to change my name in their records without changing the deed.
