Wrapping presents?

If its in a box I do okay wrapping. If its not in a box it gets a bag!

It really depends. At Christmastime if I wrap as I buy things it's really not a big deal. But if I wait and have things pile up on me I HATE it!!!!

I'm known for my Christmas wrapping marathon. I start at 8:30 AM and keep wrapping until 3 (later this year, since I'm in a small carpool) I tell everyone so they know not to bother me. I put on Christmas music, clear the family room table and set up 2 or 3 card tables,get all of my supplies out(which I purchased and stored the year before), and wrap until it's done. I usually have scattered gifts to wrap after this, but it's easy to do them one at a time, especially since I keep everything together in one place. I do this the first or second week of December.

It's also a good way to make sure I haven't forgotten anyone, or given one child significantly more than another, or haven't given DH much.

I find that it's easier to wrap & stick a name tag on (I LOVE the sticker ones) then go back and put bows (I also prefer ribbon rather than stick-on bows) on later. The old measure twice, cut once rule applies to wrapping, too.

OK, after I voted and posted a reply, I sat down and wrapped this year's presents. I took it slow and worked hard on getting the wrapping paper neat and even (and cut to the right size!) For once, all the packages look really nice. Although I still can't cut straight- ugh! But I just folded over the jagged edges and kept going. It actually turned out to be fun. Can I change my answer?

Used to be a gift bag girl...DH is the "ultimate wrapper" in our house.

untill this year. I dunno...something just "clicked" and when I started wrapping gifts, they all came out REALLY nice. Even DH said so.

Of course, I went through about 1.5 things of tape...but that's normal, right?

I love it... actually I wrapped all MIL's gifts for her on Monday night (except mine of course). She hates it!!!

Up until this year I would have said I would rather do anything else but wrap pressies. I usually wait until about the 23rd and then have to wrap everything up.

This year I have been wrapping a few a night and I've found that I am actually quite good at it. Still don't like doing it but at least I can say that all my pressies are wrapped.
