WP & GF Transportation Q?

I am unsure if I need to provide transportation for my guests. Ceremony is at WP and the cocktail reception is at GF Whitehall Patio and Lunch Reception is in a Salon at GF.

Most of my guests will either travel by car to Orlando or rent a car from the airport. For such a short distance from the WP to GF, is transporation necessary?

I also like the idea of a vintage car for after our staged exit, but how long do you have the car for? and is it worth the money?

Not sure about the vintage car, but I am having my ceremony at WP and reception at Whitehall - I am not providing transportation for my guests as its not far to walk really. In fact, I have seen lots of wedding guests use the golf type buggies with CMs driving them to go between the WP and the main building.

I am not providing transportation for my guests since most are either staying at the GF or driving over to the wedding in their own cars. Guests can park at the Wedding Pavilion lot, then move their cars to the Convention Center lot. This is a different lot than self parking, because self parking is located across the street. GF self parking is the lot you see on the other side of Floridian Way.

Disney wanted me to hire a limo for my bridesmaids and guests, but I decided not to do it. With everyone having access to cars, and most people staying at the resort, I felt that there was better use of my money.

That does help to know the convention center lot is open for our guests too. I have parked across Floridian Way when visiting the GF and wished guest parking was a little closer - especially if my female wedding guests will be in heels!

Would guests get a parking pass to display on the dash when entering the GF Gate for the Conv. Center lot?

I'm not sure about a parking pass, but my planner told me that they can park in the convention center lot.

Be sure to tell your guests when they are entering the main gates of Magic Kingdom, that they say they are going to the GF. This way they don't pay the $14 for parking since they aren't going to the parks anyway. Same thing when you get to the security check point at GF, tell them you are going to the convention center. They rarely question you. I have done this several times
