Assuming that the Priority Seating confirmation numbers are in sequential order, in 5 days that I made all of my PS arraingments, there were 63,096 PS reservations made. That's incredable. I don't know if that includes only DW, or it might be world wide. That's still a large number. Here is what I booked.

Also, the last number is a "check digit". This is used by a computer system to tell if the number was entered correctly.

Each digit except the last is multiplied by a specific one digit number (usually 1, 3 or 7). All the results are added and the check digit is what is necessary to make the sum equal to a multiuple of 10. It is almost impossible to make an accidental error (such as a slide, reversal of digits, or mistyping) that will still have the check digit come out correctly. It is used to detect an incorrect entry. Without a check digit the system will go to an incorrect reservation.

The easiest way to verify this is look at the bank routing identifier on any check. It is a nine digit number on the left side of the check. The code is 371371371. Multiply the first digit by 3, the second by 7, etc., Add all the result together and the sum should have a "0" as the last digit.
