I took some time and looked over some of my old threads... Wow.

I am a serious complainer about non issues. I am REALLY not like that in person. I'm sort of embarrassed with myself tonight.

I'm going to step back from posting such "personal" threads for a while. It's just so easy to "think" something and anonymously come on here and gripe, but I see how insane it makes me seem. I now see it's not necessary to gripe about every minute detail of my life.

I know I'm really only a faceless, mostly nameless person on here, but after tonight, I'm a little embarrassed.

To those who have offered kind words, thank you. To those who have called me out, thank you.

ok, I'm glad you posted this. Yesterday, everyone, and I mean everyone at the Dis had a meeting about you, and we were going to have an intervention, ya know, because we're all *perfect*.

ok, don't be hormonal - I'm totally, 100% kidding you, and I'd be giving you a big hug right now if we were face to face (so this will have to do )

We've all done and said things we look back on and think either "i shouldn't have said that", or "omg! why did I do that?", (or think back to highschool college days and think "ewww! why did I do THAT?" or "ewww! who was that person?".... LOL!

This should be a comfortable place for you to come to vent, talk, be happy, be unhappy, be human. Please don't think twice about it.

Yup, it was at the poly last week. I have been to Hershey a couple of times but that picture wasn't taken there.

Well, as I pointed out in your other thread, everybody has that moment where you see your reflection and think, do I really look like that?!

Generally I feel embarrassed and try to move on. You say that's not your real personality, only your internet alter ego. Easy fix, no harm, no foul.

No need to respond here, but take a good look at yourself and make sure that's not your real life m.o. If it is, you know how to fix it and I say do it pronto. It will only benefit you, your marriage, your baby, all relationships in your life. Like I said, no need to hash it out here.

If it's not part of your real life, at least this part of your internet persona will get a warmer reception I'm sure. Don't be too embarrassed either, we all step in it sometime or another.

I did. He took someone apologizing, and had to use it as an opportunity to make fun of someone else who also came back and apologized for going off. I think it's a good thing where someone can step back and look at what they wrote and say, "Yes, I am overreacting and I'm sorry."


And sorry dude, thought you were. I swear I saw a post where you were talking about a partner. I never thought the Dis would attract single, straight guys. You really do learn something new here every day!!

ohhh, I missed the other apology thread (how'd I miss that???) Anyway, I really did take his post totally as a joke (not in a mean way). I've always known his posts to be helpful to people, never mean. But of course I haven't read every single one - but I admit I just visited his profile - then thought, "how many people on this thread also just visited his profile?" .
