Wow! Ticks!!!!!!!!!!

Are ticks bad in your area? I have pulled several off the dog and now I have pulled 1 off each kid! I can't believe they are out this early! I thought when you had a really cold and wet winter/spring that meant bad year for fleas. Dry meant ticks....YUCK!

YES! I killed two yesterday just milling about the house! I 'm not sure who carried them in--we don't have any outdoor pets. I'm guessing they hitched on someone's pants or shirt. The funny thing is, we have only been in the yard--no where near the woods and we live in the city! I have never seen a tick in our house before nor have the kids ever had one attached to them--this spring and summer are most likely going to be doozies for these pests! I'm dragging out that repellent early this year!

YES! I spent about half an hour out with my horse yesterday, and ended up with FOUR!

Holy COW, I thought it was just use We pulled one out of our son's scalp a few days ago!! They had just gone into the trees on the property I didn't find the tick til the next morning (monday)...

If anyone is wondering, you CAN treat your lawn with chemicals to get rid of the ticks... we had to do it last year because we had them SO bad... THIS is really really early, we'd better get the chemicals for the lawn ASAP

No, it's not, but 90% of the time animals bring the ticks in the house. If the tick bites into the animal it will die.

Not in our house, we don't have any outdoor pets!! We have a cat, but he never goes outside... Last summer we didn't even have to go on the lawn!! The darn things were jumping from the grass onto us as we walked down our walkway!!! You'd have thought we lived in the wild kingdom or something My son even spotted one hanging on a piece of grass over the walkway!! As soon as that happened, OUT CAME THE LAWN CHEMICALS!!! Those darned things, I despise them like you have no idea!!

I love the tick collar preventic. Just went yesterday and got a new one. THey last about 3 months. The thing that is nice about this collar the ticks never attach unlike the drops. where The ticks attach and then die. At least this is what the vet said. This will be the first year I bought the plus version which is suppose to work with fleas too. I always used front line for them! hope it works as well!
