I've noticed mostly everybody has gotten tagged by the tag fairy on here

The tag fairy got made at me for complaining about the purple, I want it back

Are there any stories behind your tags? If so, tell

Mine is pretty old, but I still crack up at it!
I was on Spider Man and it stopped. I had a little panic attack and stood up yelling to get out of the car. They never did stop it, but everyone on the car with me was cracking up. At the time, I didn't think it was so funny.lol

My other one was due to the fact that I just love US onsite resorts.

not really a story behind mine. i was being sarcastic. i got hit by the Sig police ::cop: a little while back, and i was just being sarcastic the other day and BOOM i got a tag lol

I believe my DW Caropooh has explained the Braille Van tag. The other came about as I am slipping into Vacation Mode already with 7 more days until we fly to Orlando for our 7 night Eastern Caribbean DCL cruise.

i dont have one as you can tell.. i dont count im new here.. only been here a few days soooo im under the Tag Fairy radar...

It took just about a year to get my first tag.

My tags are from 2003:
"songs remind me of..." comes from a thread that asked if certains songs remind you of particular people-my reply became a tag. The TF left out the songs, but the idea is what mattered.

"only for WDW backpack", before I moved to Florida, we had a backpack that was ready to go for the parks-three FRS radios, ponchos, sunscreen, birnbaum book and stuff we only used at WDW. Now that we live in Florida, we don't use it for just WDW.

"Dennis Quaid". I know all these tags came from 2003 when I had carpal tunnel surgery. Whenever I have surgery, my sleep cycle gets out of whack and I'm up at 3am. (Hmmmmm, it's 3am now). I popped in my copy of the Parent Trap remake and commented in the YaYa thread how cute Dennis was. I tend to go for bald/balding men, so the comment must have struck the Tag Fairy's funny bone. I like it, too.

Yeah, they're old. It'd be nice to have newer ones, but I know how busy the tag fairy can be-there are 100,000 DISers to tag, so I'll be happy with what I've got.

Heh, well I've never gotten a tag before, but I love looking at everyone elses. I've never seen a scrolling tag before. I bet it was uber goober rad. =]

I WANT A TAG SO BAD I CAN TASTE IT! I have tried to be funny....but no tag. I have tried to be obedient...no tag. I post and post. I have the dis running through my veins. Yet still....NO TAG! I tried posting witty comments. I had people telling the tag fairy to give me a tag with all my witty comments. I guess we just didn't hang out in the same places though. I got fed up and decided to give myself a tag. I said,"Has virus protection to protect against hackers like the tag fairy" It's something I had mentioned in a thread before. I thought it was witty. But she/he didn't I suppose. (I never got tagged from that thread) Like a day after I got rid of the dis veteran and put that in there, she/he changed it and gave me a real tag.

A little story, but it's mine and I love it. I'd been having a bad time at work/home and I posted a couple of things about Disney trips and how focusing on Disney is what keeps me sane. Because of the very things that caused my stress, I ended up staying away from the DISboards for a while. But when I came back, there was my tag! And that's when I knew I'd found my home-away-from-my-Disney-home, the DISboards.

Funny thing is, not only did the TF give me my tag but she colorized my Mouseketeer label, so even though I should not be a "Dis Veteran," I can't change the label without losing my tag. So the TF recognized me for what I really am, a lifelong Mouseketeer, not that there's anything wrong with that.

My first two, the nut and aces ones are homemade tags that the TF colorized. The snarky one was given to me by another poster when she got some tag genie wishes by taking part in a WPASADI challenge. That one I love! The last tag was actually one of my only serious tags...I was recently telling another poster that "I'm still a work in progress", meaning that I still have some personal things that I'm working on myself and am far from perfect. Gee, I wonder why the tag fairy chose to tag me with that...trying to make a point, huh TF? I like it, though...a constant reminder.

I've had other tags that I lost when I was put on the naughty mat, were "retired" and later sold on eBay, and accidentally erased by me.

What I wouldn't give to be tag fairy for a day!
