Wow Rockin Roller Coaster!!

The first time we brought our boys then 10 and 13 on RnR they didn't even know that they went upside down. We can't get them on traditional roller coasters but because they couldn't see what was coming they really liked it. It is one of my favorites, we ride it at least 5-6 times per visit.

Can some of you vererans describe this ride to me? My DD will be tall enough for the first time to ride it and I'd like to take her, but I tend to be a chicken. I like Space Mountain and BTMRR, but I don't go on TOT because I'm claustrophobic. Should I stay away or go on?

It starts with a launch that takes you from 0-60 mph(ok, it's actually like 58) in less than three seconds. After that, it's like Space Mountain, but twice as fast with several loops and hollywood neon road signs instead of stars.

The restraints are much more substantial than Space though. They come down over your shoulders and are pretty tight, so you'll have to decide if that kind of thing would make you feel claustrophobic.

My DD7 rode it 4 times. It was her favorite ride at WDW.

I agree this ride was beyond amazing. I went on a bunch of times, fast pass worked really well for this, I wish they had single riders line for this too though.

:goodvibes So many good reviews!!!! I'll be there for the first time on July...Wish me luck :cool1:

OMG, My fav. ride EVER!!!! I LOVE roller coasters and this is one of a kind. I wish it was longer though. But I can remember my first time on it. It had opened recently and my family and I had wanted to ride it. The line was reasonable and the sun was not too hot. I got into the preshow and, well not too scared yet. Then, we entered into the "alley" I waited and watched the first limo shoot off. To me, it litereally looked like a blur as it took off. It was at that instant that my legs began to shake. Once I got into my little seat in the limo and pulled as tightly as I could possibly pull down the shoulder bars thing. Our limo pulled up to starting position and I glared up to the screen. I could hear Aerosmith and was so nervous after remembering how fast the car went before me. I grabbed on tighly and heard Aerosmith yell and the screen had a foot slam down and a green light went off. before I knew it I was pushed back into my seat and I was screaming louder than ever. WHAT A RUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ohhhhh, I just CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!! :earseek:

RnR is my favorite ride at MGM! I love the countdown and Aerosmith playing in the background makes this ride awesome.

I love RnR! We went on it twice our first day and since they had EMH on our last day, we to MGM just to ride it again. :)

I guess it was just me but the ride was okay for me. I loved TOT but RNR was just okay. Call me nuts.

RNR -ahhhh.

Love that ride...and TOT too.

DDs both love it too, so we are all hooked....

I LOVE RNR! Definitely my favorite ride at WDW, I went on it eight times last trip. Way better ride than ToT in my opinion. I actually think ToT has better themeing than RNR, but as for the actual ride itself RNR wins hands down!

Love RNR coaster. My 9yr. daughter now proclaims Aerosmith her favorite band. As she says, "They make really fun coasters!" My daughter and I loved trying to read all the signs during the ride.(The 5 times we rode it).

I will agree with the statement that RNR is one of the best rides at WDW. This past trip was my DS's first chance to ride it and he really enjoyed it alot. But everyone in our group would agree that the best ride at Disney right now is Soarin. That ride is not only awesome but it is breathtaking as well. I have told everyone to go there to just do that one ride. But that is just our opinion.
