KILLER BRICK PATIO!!!!!! I can't believe how huge and elaborate this thing is! Multi -level, stone walls, BBQ pit area...They had a huge deck, tore 3/4 of it up and now extended the patio about 20 feet past the orig. deck line. All I can say is I sure hope we're invited to some swingin' summer bashes this year! Not to mention it sure helps our property values.

Well... as long as the tires stay on it the values won't diminish too much. As soon as the cement blocks go under it I'd start looking to move

I hate decks. They are a maintenance headach and can not believe there are so many of them. our home has a deck that goes out to the edge of our above ground pool, which is nice, but man do the kids get slivers. I have covered the deck with carpet, but after a couple of years of New England weather, they are shot. If I ever build there will not be a deck on my new house. just a nice brick or stone patio. Yeah Nutsy....I can just imagine what their summer home is like. Apparenty a lot of years w/UPS is VERY lucrative. He is a really nice guy tho...his wife too. And boy, do they have good taste!

We just put a deck on with composite decking for the reasons stated above - NE weather and decks do not mix. We absolutely love having a deck. I want to do a nice huge patio too - but that will have to be hand made and will take me a few years to complete. I love the creativity that comes with patios today.

HOLY COW!!!Now all the new , mature landscaping is arriving....there must be about 25k worth of work going on out there...that' s a whole lot of trips to WDW! or a nice downpayment on a condo in Fl...this is unreal...they lanscapers just keep wheelbarrowing in tree after tree....I keep looking for the WHILE YOU WERE OUT or EXTREME HOME MAKEOVER people..TY in particular but looks like this is all neighbors doing. Our next door neighbor however. makes Cruella, Malificent, and the Q of Hearts look like Cinderella...I noticed most of the larger trees are being lined up to block her...wish I could do the same!

We have a Cruella a few houses down too. Don't feel too bad. Her hobby is calling the police on her next door neighbor (who never does anything wrong).
