Wow! Magical Treasure are Totally New

Got docs. today, and hubby pointed out that the Magical Treasures offerings have been totally changed! It's not even called Magical Treasures anymore. Some of the new offerings, like the Pooh package with a Pooh pillow are really cute. There is also a gorgeous etching of a ship with Mickey in the clouds overhead, a really cute backpack, stateroom decorations for special occasions, etc. Hubby promises to scan the new brochure and post it on our website this weekend.

I received the new brochure today, too, and I am very impressed! Lots of new gifts and configurations. Several "birthday" type gifts and "congratulations" ones too. Too bad I just cruised last week, though! LOL!

There had been some discussion recently (regarding whether or not the pillow cases were available) that DCL had contracted with a completely new vendor. I guess that must be true!

I received the new brochure yesterday. I've already ordered the stateroom decorations (the day we depart is my DD 8th Birthday).

I am leaning towards the Pooh package, just not sure yet (Pluto is very cute).

Well I received the brochure yesterday July 29 and my cruise was July 25-28!! LOL!!! Hopefully you will all get yours prior to your cruise. Yes, should be included with cruise docs.

I was dissapointed with the new brochure stuff. Mainly because it didn't have a lot of "cruise line" stuff. It's mostly Disney character stuff that I could get at WDW or the Disney store.

They did away with the pillowcases. That would have been a nice remembrence of the ship.

Although, I must say the pooh pillow and slippers is cute.

This must be a really! new brochure. A friend of mine is sailing on the August 1st Wonder and I was with her when her docs arrived. The old set of offerings was in that set.

It is cute but still wished they had included the pillowcase from before!
Pooh is cute if you're a Pooh Fan. And I do agree most of the items
are items that can be purchased at WDW or Disney Store. Hope the
selection on board is better.

I was a little bit dissapointed when I called to order out of the one they sent in my cruise docs and had them send me the new one. There seems little to do with the cruise ship, which is what I was looking for and the prices seemed a bit high even for Disney standards.

I'll second the fact that although Disney's new options are nice, Shirley's stuff is the best because it is personalized. I ordered a basket for hubby for our anniversary, and the Chicago Bears theme was exquisite! I liked it so much that I have ordered crew member gifts from her on several occasions.

Are the beach towels still in the catalog? I bought only one on our last cruise and the fighting has not stopped since about who gets to use the Disney Cruise Line towel at the beach each day! Of course, I could use the free one for returning guests if that is still the gift but I would like a few extras as well. Anyone?
