Wow! In the new Clubhouse...

I can't imagine how much it would cost to fly from the UK. It is costing us so much just to fly to Orlando in school holiday times, next October 2006. In fact the Virgin flights were fully booked and we had to fly with British Airways.

British Airways have just announced that they are adding more to their fuel costs on long haul flights. I hope that does not apply to us as we booked 15 months in advance!!!

One day maybe if DVC comes to Hawaii it may be worth it to us.

Any chance of DVC in Disneyland Paris?????

Ah, Susan, that would be wonderful woudn't it? A DVC at DL Paris...wow! Honestly that and Hawaii are two of the reasons we bought DVC...after the 50 years of paid for accomodations at WDW...but I know there will come a day when we want to farm out and take advantage of all the other great places....Hawaii and Paris. Who knows, they might even start offering something at Hong Kong or Tokyo....we CAN dream can't we?

Wow....does that rate still apply for those members?
My understanding is they have a lifelong commitment for what ever the specifics are of their contract. But I do recall it being quite the deal.

That is truly an amazing rate. I'll have to remember to ask my husband what he knows of earlier benefits.

Our membership is also grandfathered in (I don't know the proper legal terms) but we do now have to pay an annual membership fee of $100. Compared to our DVC dues though, I'm not complaining!

we're at the Hilton Waikoloa Village (on Hilton Points) on the Big Island and the Moana Surfrider (on Sheraton Points) on Oahu.

The Moana Surfrider is really neat. I stayed next door at the Halekelani a few years ago.

P.S. I love your avatars. I grew up in Madison. Go Cubbies!
