I'm going solo to WDW at the end of September, during the free dining deal. I decided to upgrade to the deluxe dining plan at $32 per night for a total of $288. Today, I figured out what I would order at each of the table service restaurants.as well as snacks, it came up to a total of $1,154.56 (including tax & tip). Subtrack that total from the $288 and I end up saving $866.56!!!!! :woohoo: :yay::cool1:

With the DxDP, it's giving me the chance to dine at several 2 credit TS places, that I would not be able to do otherwise. Some of the 2 credit meals would run between $80-90 for just that meal!!!

Sounds great, but for me and my family thats just too much away time from the parks and WAY too much planning.....

Please let us know your plans and reviews...

I also enjoy saving money! Sometimes it worth doing to book work to save some money. In your case it looks like you saved LOTS! Congrats!

You have a lot of the same restaurants that I plan to book for our next trip in 2010. DD13 and I love eating out and that's part of our vacation. We don't mind taking time to sit at the restaurants and rest. We are usually up early, but not necessarily for rope drop. We've made it to rope drop several times, but sometimes get there just after. We also don't always go back to the room for a break, so sitting for meals and resting isn't a bad thing in our book. I love the DxDP.

That looks like a great list.

I've had WCC for lunch - the food was good but the restaurant was fairly quiet. It was great for my mom and I but I don't know what you are looking for out of the experience (i.e. food - or the experience). The WL was also fairly empty so it was great to look around and take pictures.

If it fits with your plans, I'd try the Brown Derby for lunch - being on the dxddp gives you more flexibility with your credits and it is a beautiful respite from the heat of the parks. It just feels like a wonderful place to sit down, relax and "lunch".

It looks like you have a lot of good restaurants on your list! :thumbsup2

You should see about doing the Brown Derby with the Fantasmic package...I really liked it!

Have a great time!:cool1:
