I think we may wind up in Kansas after all! Holy smokes!

Hows your weather today?

Cloudy and not too cold (our heat has been off for about 2 weeks now :cool1:). We had hurricane winds last month that took out power lines, uproated trees, and took out my mother's stockade fence.

Welcome to Colorado and the wind. :goodvibes I live just north of the Air Force Academy in the foothills and when the fronts move in and out, you do feel like everything is going to blow away!!!

Its really bad Sandy! I dont know that Ive ever lived anywhere where the weather was volatile.

Oh well just more to get used to I guess. At least it doesnt get (or stay at least) as hot here as it did in Boise. I hear the evenings cool off pretty well.

It is bad. I grew up in Nebraska and moved here 25 years ago, and I'm still not used to it!! We had wind there, but nothing like this. We are lucky that our house is stucco so it's a bit quieter, but there are days when I'm not sure we'll have a roof left after it blows!!

The springs here aren't all that pretty (my opinion), but the summers and falls are glorious. And the lack of humidity and bugs are very appealing. :thumbsup2 Someday I would like to winter somewhere with no snow to shovel, but it would be hard to leave Colorado entirely.
