For those of you who have used USGB have you had them send funds by paypal?

How is their payout for silver?

I sent my gold and silver to USGB. Silver payout was next to nothing, but since I was never wearing it or it was broken, I decided to give it a shot and see if it would pay.

I would not recommend using paypal. I used paypal and had to wait 3 or 4 days after the USGB deposit was made to clear and then another 3 or 4 days to have it transferred to my bank. I thought paypal would be quicker than waiting for a check, but it actually took longer.

Just got a call from USGB - that was fast, send in the package exactly 24 hours ago!! They are sending me $801.32 - not too bad for some assorted broken junk

Looks like Price of gold down $17 today from yesterday,

Oh well - it is stil found $$$. Mine was approximately 4 -5 oz gold and 10 oz silver.

I'm so disgusted! I didn't know about USGB and have been going to a small jewelry store. I bet I've sold like 6-8 ounces of gold and only got about $500 out of it. Thanks goodness I've dug up about 8 more ounces to sell.

Ok, finally sent in my stuff tonight to USGB! I checked the local coin dealer today & he was going to give me $388, USGB gave me a quote of $619. Now I worry that I weighed it wrong or something. It sounds like I'll for sure get more than what the local guy was going to give me.

It was funny, when I was asked where I had found out about USGB, I said Disboards & he (Jose) just laughed & said..."Oh Disboards! Yes, I've heard of them!! Now you better say something nice about USGB on there!" Too funny!

Well I sent my last package out on the 7th, got a qoute on the 8th and Im still waiting for my check. I called yesterday and she said it went out on the 8th.

You all have me hooked. my question is...I've been to their website and they say they pick it up at your house, like Fedex or someone...is there a way to just send it to them, without someone picking it up. I don't like the thought of waiting around for someone to come here...I have a pile waiting..

Fedex does come and pick it up, but when you shecdule they ask you what time do you want us to come and get it, they don't give you a time. The work with when you will be home. It was really convenient.

You can also go to a Fedex location & drop it off yourself. That's what I did. Very easy. Once you call USGB they'll send your their Fedex info & you fill that out on the Airbill.

I dropped mine off last night at 530pm (CDT) & it was delivered by 10am (EDT)!! Now...just waiting for the phone call!

Do you have a Kinkos near you? You can just go in there and they will give you the envelope and air bill to fill out and they will send it for you - that's what I did, much easier than waiting around for them to come to you

Whenever I called FedEx Ive given them a time that I am leaving my house by and they were always here within that time frame. Very nice and the fedex guy always had whatever supplies I needed.

I went to the Fed ex site and found a drop box near my house. After I printed the postage off the site, I went to the drop box and they have envelopes there; I put the postage in the sleeve, dropped in my loot, and stuck it in the box.

What exactly do you have to fill out when they come to your house? Do I just fill out the method of payment form that is on USGB site. Was just curious if the fed ex guy would be waiting on me for an hour to fill out forms. Do I have to pay to have it shipped to them. I don't mind if I'm getting big bucks in return.
