WOW - I just sold my old gold........

Does anyone know if they (US Gold Buyers) accept gold watches? My mother left me her jewelry including several of her old watches. I don't like and won't wear them, plus some of them I'm pretty sure don't work any more. They aren't designer or collectable in any way, so their only worth is in the gold. I checked the website and it didn't say, so I thought I'd ask here.

I've used them quite a few times, and a couple of times when I sent in my jewelry I had them send it back because I didn't feel that they were offering enough. I personally have never had any problem with them at all.

I found this thread a few weeks ago... and it stuck in my mind when I was at a yard sale saturday.

For 50¢ I bought a gold chain and pair of earrings....I went to the Gold Buyers store in our mall...and walked out with $98.45.

That prompted my husband to look for an old jewelry box that I swore I lost in our move...but he swore he saw it.

Well he found it yesterday!!!!

We sold jewelry that I thought I had lost years ago.... all of it was from our high school years...so a few charms, gold chains.. and our class rings that we never wore even then.

Back up to the mall we went...and walked out with $1192.10 that time

A friend of mine was going through the stuff with me as I was pulling out stuff I was keeping.... and she had just sold stuff to another place a few months ago...she was telling me I should get like $300-400... based on what she sold then. She was shocked when she heard how much I got.

My kids now have all their school clothes, supplies, and I restocked my freezer and pantry for the winter. (plus I'm now hoping to fly out to visit a friend for the weekend...but I'll spring that on DH later )

I just took my gold to Fed Ex to be sent in!!! DH wouldn't let me send his 2 little things cause he says gold is just gonna keep going up....that's nice, I want to go to Disney NOW!!! LOL

I will let you all know what they call and offer me for it. Oh, and I just got a call asking if I got their email and if I had any questions...no questions luv just show me the $$

At least I'm not alone. I just want people to be aware of what happened. I was promised that my stuff would be returned and it wasn't after I did what they asked. I'm glad I wasn't the only one. I just won't do business with them again. Ever. Regardless of what people will tell me.

Yes they do. I sent a ladies, gold watch to them.
