Wow...I just hit 5,000!

Well, I just made my 5,000th post!!! I think I am spending too much time on the Dis....but I guess if this and DCL cruises are my only obessions it's OK!!! And...it's my hubby's B'Day today...I am sure he will be so happy I celebrated on the Dis!!!

Congratulations, MJ!

I assume we'll be celebrating your husband's birthday soon on the Magic--save me a piece (very small piece) of cake. I've never had a birthday cake onboard, but they always look so good. (If my husband was here, he'd comment that I always think every dessert looks good--which is very true!)

Ed's been out of town this past week, and I find that I spend even more time on the DIS-boards. Think of all the trouble we could get into if we didn't spend time here.

How can you ever compare anything to the creme brulee! For shame!!!!!!

Rae...you are so right...the Creme Brulee beats out the birthday cake everytime!!!! It is my DD19's absolute favorite dish on the ship!! The wait staff always brings her two!!!

Okay, okay--I confess: I truly love creme brulee! I now pack saran wrap for the extra serving I take back to my stateroom.

Rae, you would have been proud of my son Kevin on our last cruise--one night he asked for one of every dessert on the menu! He would not be a good influence on Michael. Maybe Michael would be a good influence on Kevin.

We all wish that the mango soup was served every day.

Rae, there's still time for you to join MJ and me on the 2/7. It's just a phone call away..........

Now as everyone knows I am an ol' conch from Key West - lived on Mangos by the buckets full - if I was stranded on an island with mangos, I would forlet any rescues for a year ( well come to think of it I grew up on an island that mangos could be pulled from hundreds of trees) DUH - anyhow what is cold mango soup - sounds yukie - enlighten me please -

Hey Shirley and everyone!!! Thanks for all the congrats!!!

Shirley....we will be sailing on 2/7 and will be in Cocoa Beach at the Doubletree on 2/6 (not sure what time we will be in Cocoa Beach as we are travelling from Clearwater visiting my Aunt), but if we get in town early enough I would love to stop by the shop and say hello!! I always enjoy a visit to "The Perfect Gift" to see you!! Hubby and myself and his brother and wife will all be celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversaries on board that week!!!
