Wow, Gas Prices Finally Dropping!

well, they finally have gone down .50 cents here so far! how about where you are?
maybe I can drive this week

and I read in the paper this morning they are perdicting the price to drop more

We've been very lucky here. We were out of gas completely for about 5 days (people were on the streets with signs "Will Work for Gas") but when we do get gas in, the station up the street sells it for 2.69.

I'm just under half a tank...hoping it might go down a little more before I fill up.

It's down to $2.79 here, from a high of $3.14.

Still high, but, certainly an improvement.

I paid 2.76 today at Walmart. Our state has taken the taxes off of gas for the month of September so I know it will go back up soon.

The highest I think I paid was $3.29 and as of this morning it was down to $2.99. Any savings is a good one in my mind, but I would still love to see it drop some more.

my DH got $26.00 of gas last night for $2.89 a gallon, which is down from 3.19. i'm hoping it'll go down at least 10 more cents before i need to fill up at the end of the week.

Down to $3.15 yesterday..haven't been out past gas station today.

It went down to $3.11 here. I heard from some friends that if you search you can find $2.99.
