WOW easter airfare is already so high!

A month ago PIT-MCO was $230-$250. Now it is $300 and easter is 8 mos. away! I know some airlines don't even have their schedules out yet, but is this normaL? I thought the airfare would be less.

Easter 2008 is late March and right in the middle of spring break time (colleges). It will be a very busy time. We have been going to WDW every Easter for 12 years, and flights are always high--$300. Rarely have we paid less than that! I have been looking every day to see if anything goes on sale -- usually on a Tues or Wednesday. SW and Airtran do not have their schedule posted for the time period.
