As a frequent Ebay user, I'm all in favor of accuracy. However, in this case, do you really think it was this user's intent to scam people? It seems to me it was a mistake--and one that was corrected. Whether he decided to correct it on his own or because someone else brought it to his attention isn't really the issue.
If during one of my auctions there was an error, I would expect someone to question it, yes. But report it as "fraud" to Ebay???? That's a pretty strong accusation!!!!
To some folks the original listing was misleading. I'm the type of person that researches what I buy---and expect others to do the same, especially something that is pretty easily verified. If a serious bidder came across the listing they could have asked that question and it could/would have been clarified then. I just don't know why you (the OP) had to feel like you had to bust this user by shooting off an email to Ebay and a nasty one to the Ebay user.

Since he corrected it so quickly, I'm guessing a simple email questioning the building situation would have had the same effect, if it was just poor wording.
And if he gets the $$ for it--who is anyone here to say "boo?" Although, I have to admit--I would never pay that much ($5500) for BCV--but that's me! Obviously, there are people out there who will, considering Disney's rack rates.
Just my 2 cents--the rest is coming with me to HHI next week!
