Wow...Blake & Miranda are divorcing

All I've read in the papers here is that someone from the Voice claims that this is the happiest Blake has been in a long time, at least I regards to how he acts behind the scenes on set. They're saying the divorce has been good for him.


I don't know why some people need to blame Blake simply because he's a man?

It's all over, just google Blake and Miranda. Chris Young's name was being mentioned all day, he responded, denying any involvement. The articles allege she was/is also involved with someone else who is not in the business.

I'm also not buying the "she broke down on stage" story simply because when I saw her in concert a few years ago she cried while singing the same song. I am fans of both of them, always have been, always will be but it's not fair for everyone to assume Blake cheated on her!!!

I had been listening to Miranda's Platinum CD just before reading about their divorce~Priscilla in particular stands out to me now. Actually, a lot of the songs and how Miranda said she worked really hard to take that album in a new direction. With 2 powerful careers and touring, cross- country/international travel and a tv show, I can imagine saying "why bother being married?" whether there was any cheating involved or not. Maybe we all get to benefit though from future songs, or maybe not. I do love The Pistol Annies so I am selfishly hoping Miranda heads back to the studio with them for some new stuff.

Idk if we will ever know the truth but if he was cheating, wouldn't she'd be the one to file? Kinda strange that he was the one to file.

Sad either way - never like to hear that someone's marriage is over.

Supposedly, it's easier and quicker to obtain a divorce in Oklahoma. I think both were past ready to move on...no more "loving feeling".

They seem to be on good terms. They have been tweeting back and forth. I don't know how if anyone cheated or not. I will say that I think Blake has a drinking problem and I hope he will get help for that.

Oh, then I guess what you meant to say was that you disdained the weak, gullible, women in their lives that are apparently putting up with it? You stated that HE had probably cheated and SHE had overlooked it...
