We've stayed at Park Vue Inn twice, and that was because they had an in-room, 2 person jacuzzi tub for what I thought was a really decent price being right across the street from the happiest place on earth! I haven't done the research since 2008, but at the time, it was the cheapest jacuzzi room I could find near
Disneyland. Very nice and romantic for an adult getaway. The last time we were there, we got the gift basket. It was nice, but we didn't eat the fruit, and only had a small cup of the wine. The water was handy. We had no idea they even offered more water than that. We drive in, so we've always brought several of our own. And when we go to Disneyland, we typically eat in the parks or Downtown Disney as part of our vacation, so we've never made it back for their dinners. I don't usually eat from any continental breakfasts, but DH thought it was okay. I don't think we've ever eaten a cookie or had punch.
I guess what I'm trying to say is we chose PVI for other reasons than the perks they're cutting out. Just another perspective to add to the mix! Oh, and can you beat having a Cold Stone's RIGHT THERE? I don't think so!
