Wow Am I confused!

We own at AKV (200) and BCV (100) and plan on adding on again at AKV in another year or so. We also tak a non-disney vacation every year to Myrtle Beach in SC and just pay cash for that trip. We find that having DVC (and two options with home resorts) works very well for us. We ban and borrow every other year at each on. This allows us 200 points to use one year then 400 points the next. Our non Disney trips we find it easier to look for deals and pay cash since we can be flexible with the dates.

I own 1,410 points, 900 SSR & 510 OKW. Have not had since 2004 any problems renting or booking for my family any resort at or outside Disney. Buy were you like but I buy lowest point cost SSR & OKW. I stay at BWV 90% of the time (7month window) and have never had a problem getting a date I can live with. Fixed vacation dates require 11 month window more often then not.

Thought that might be an option as well. We have extended family that we would like to bring one of these years. THere are four of them and six of us. Thought a grand villa would be a nicer set up than 2 2BR's.

AKV will have 6 grand villas. It also has standard rooms so you can save on pts for a two bedroom which is nice. I have all my pts here since the 1 bedrooms accomodate 5 people.

There will be 6 GV at Jambo House and 16 GV at Kidani Village, for a total of 22 GV's at AKV.
