WOW ADDED ON TODAY....contract info. already on DVC site!!

Is that crazy or what???? I went on line to look at something else and this totally shocked me. The developer points aren't there but the contract number and the points are there for UY 08, 09 and 2010. All we did was pay the down payment over the phone....we won't have paperwork for a week probably he said. I am sure if I called MS the points can't really be booked for a trip next year right??? Are they really there????

Yes, they are really there and you can book a trip, at least that's the way it worked for me when I did my last add-on! (Don't know about using the developer points--I didn't get those.)

my contract is on there as well. we got our paperwork yesterday so it might not take a week for you to get yours!

You can make your reservation with developer and/or regular points as soon as your deposit has been paid. They are that quick and yes add-ons are too easy. I've already taken the plunge twice.

Keep in mind that developer points do not and will not (unless they change the computing system) show on the DVCMember.com My Vacation Points list. Only the standard points will show on the list. You MUST tell the MS operator that you wish to use the developer points or they will only use your standard points when making reservations. You MUST use the developer points before the end of the UY or you will forfeit them.

Thanks I did just that. I booked a trip at SSR in Nov. using the 100 pts. first before they took from our regular SSR stash.
