Would you stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge again? Please only answer the poll if you have stayed there before.

I have stayed there twice and I would stay there again in a heartbeat..... I loved the atmosphere and the safari view.

The lodge was also amazing, one night we saw by the fireplace and just watched people.... even that was relaxing.

Absolutely!! We stayed there for our wedding/honeymoon...it was so neat waking up and seeing the animals!

Just got back and would go again! DS loved the pool! I ask him if he liked WL or AKL better and he said AKL because of the bigger pool! (and the animals, of course!)

Yes, most definitely! The only thing I would do differently is book and KEEP a pool view room! We got a complimetary upgrade, bu I love the courtyard view at WL, so I think I would prefer the pool view at AKL to the savannah view.

As the Title says, the AKL is not my first choice that falls upon her sister lodge the Wilderness. If I could not get the WL and I was going to say Deluxe the AKL is my old reliable. I stayed there in Dec 2002, and we loved it. We arrived in the early evening and found out that our Pool View room was not to be, but they kindly upgraded us to the Savanah View stytle Rooms. Like the WL, the main think I like about it is that everything is all in one building, makes it great if its raining and you want to go to the food court, never having to get wet. Unlike some other then the Deluxes. I also love when you walk into the AKL and you feel totally out of your element, meaning you feel like you are in Africa, and besides the Disney service you would never know you were in Florida from the grandness and theming of the Lodge. Some people have complained about their being only buses to the Lodge and it takes a while, I say grow up, you are in Disney World, on Vacation not waiting on 42st waiting for a bus to get to work. I could go on and on, but I would just say I would Stay there again.

We stayed at AKL for the first time in October 2004 and will be returning for a couple nights in August 2005!!!!! I LOVE that resort!!

I would stay there again when I didn't have kids in strollers. It is too much work with 2 strollers for only relying on bus transportation.
