I would like to take my DD to the World in October. We've been saving and have everything but our food money already in hand. We had planned to go for Homeschool Days because I think it would be an awesome experience for her, but nobody can tell me when they will be in the fall.
I've checked into prices at Bonnet Creek vs. onsite, and we like what we see. DD is dying to try out the lazy rivers, and the rooms look awesome. We'll be able to save on food expenses too, because of the kitchen.
We're driving down, so no worries about airfare.
I saw on another thread about DW tickets at Orbitz through an online rebate program, which I signed up for. The tickets will be about $100 more expensive through Orbitz than through Homeschool Days, but if I buy them, I can tailor our dates to when it's good for us, rather than whenever HS days is. I don't really want her to miss out on the presentation, but on the other hand, it's only a couple of hours too - probably not life-changing.
So I'm looking for opinions - would you wait to book until HS Days is announced, save the $100 and just go when they want you to, or would you book now, buy the tickets from Orbitz, get the times and days you want, but spend extra money/
