I have a shoulder surgery scheduled for December 27 to repair a torn labrum and shave off a bone spur. We delayed the surgery at my request due to a trip planned for November 10-18 and yes we are counting down the days!
However over the past week or so and especially this weekend the shoulder has hurt almost constantly. It's not excruciating pain by any means but I wonder do I really want to wait 3 more months to have it corrected. But that MIGHT mean visiting the world sporting an arm sling and that does not seem very appealing either not to mention not able to ride some attractuibs and I already have FP for FOP scheduled.
Have any of you ever had to wear a sling to the world and if you have is it something you would never do again or did you just adapt?
