I don’t expect Epcot to stay opening at 11am in fall to be honest. Rat is opening, and Disney is selling corporate viewing packages for Harmonious for October. Epcot will be busy. WS will still likely open at 11 but I think FW will go back to opening at the regular time, if only to spread people out.
Rise has virtual queue due to the reliability issues, mainly. I think Rat will be regular standby like MMRR and Millennium Falcon did when they opened, cause it’s just a cloned version of an existing ride. Would be shocked if they went to VQ for that.
Agreed, It does seem like they would need to open EP earlier. But in general, it seems like park hours should open up with the higher anticipated crowds. I think I saw that MK was open until 1am recently for spring break. Which was a surprise, maybe I read it wrong.
The staggered opening times and shorter hrs were obviously a cost savings measure (i.e. less buses operating, less CM hrs, rides running less hrs, etc.) with lower volume of guests. More attractions are filling all rows such as BTM, 7D... that, along with expanded hours will help some.
Rat is supposed to be similar to MMRR, and I'm sort of surprised at how quickly the wait times have gone down on MMRR. It seems like it's consistently one of the lowest wait times at HS other than TSM. Of course it helps to have a few other newer attractions at HS to divert attn (EP will not have that).
